Everest, the grey stallion by Especial, secured victory in the Z-class of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage during the final at the KWPN Stallion Show, following a dominant performance that had already put him at the top of the standings. Under rider Charlotte Fry, Everest maintained his lead and finished with a total score of 339.8 points.

The competition kicked off with the chestnut stallion Newport (Glock’s Toto Jr. out of Adaula elite pref IBOP-dres PROK by Jazz, breeder P. van Doorn) under Febe van Zwambagt. Newport, owned by Stal Leeuwenhof, impressed with his strong foreleg technique and well-established posture in the exercises.

New Dreams 
The tension rose as the competition intensified, with the horses being judged by Floor Dröge, Patrick van der Meer, and Maarten van der Heijden. New Dreams (Jerveaux out of Jills ster by Dream Boy, breeder T.J.M. Coomans) competed under the guidance of Adelinde Cornelissen. The stallion, owned by Daliquart BV, put in a steady and harmonious performance, which earned him praise for his rhythm and tact in all gaits, with his harmony being scored a 9. His final score of 84.80 points brought him to an overall total of 336.2 points, earning him second place.

Everest seals the victory
Next, Everest took the stage, showing an active and engaged performance. Maarten van der Heijden praised Everest for his diligent effort, stating, "This horse moves beautifully in the lateral work and always gives a diligent impression. While there could be more length in the frame, he has tremendous talent for both collection and transitions." Under Charlotte Fry, Everest scored an impressive 86.6, securing the victory with an overall total of 339.8 points.

Network
The final competitor was Network, presented by Femke de Laat. A son of Just Wimphof out of Keyveniz Texel pref by Negro, Network showed consistency throughout his test. Van der Heijden noted, "The horse shows a lot of willingness to work, but still needs to improve in his self-carriage." With a score of 82.82, Network’s total score of 324.6 earned him third place.
