Performance test report

Exterior:
New Dreams is a well-developed, youthful stallion with sufficient rectangular frame proportions. His head is expressive. The neck is of sufficient length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has a good shape, sufficient length, and sufficient musculature but emerges deep from the chest. The shoulder is well-positioned and of good length. The withers are well-developed and of good length. The back is sufficiently long and well-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is slightly sloping, well-proportioned in length, and sufficiently muscled. The thigh muscle is sufficiently long. The foreleg is correctly positioned from the side view but slightly toe-out (French) from the front view. The hind leg is slightly long and sickle-hocked. The pasterns, both front and hind, are sufficiently long and correctly positioned. The foundation is well-developed and of strong quality. The hooves are well-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are well-developed.

Pedigree:
New Dreams is the first KWPN-approved son of Jerveaux, the well-bred Ferdeaux son who completed his performance test with high marks. The dam of New Dreams is the star mare Jillz, a daughter of Dream Boy, who has been successfully competing at the international Grand Prix level with Hans Peter Minderhoud and was part of the Dutch Olympic team. Jillz has produced an approved stallion with her first offspring, New Dreams. His dam line continues with Bo Vowendy, a daughter of Sir Sinclair, who produced the ZZ-Licht dressage horse I Am Legend TC in combination with Dream Boy. Granddam Vowendy, an elite, sport-(dressage), D-OC mare by the preferent Contango, competed at Z2 level. Vowendy is the dam of the international Intermediaire-I horse Hamilton (by Apache) and another Z2 dressage horse.

Performance test report:
New Dreams is an honest and pleasant stallion with a good to very good attitude. He has a strong willingness to work and is very trainable. His walk has good rhythm and reach and demonstrates excellent use of his body. His trot is very light-footed, with good reach and posture. The foreleg moves with great shoulder freedom, while the hind leg could engage more decisively. His canter is uphill, with good reach and expressive foreleg use. New Dreams moves with significant to exceptional suppleness, good posture, and excellent balance. As a dressage horse, New Dreams has considerable to exceptional potential and gives his rider a very good feeling.

Stable behavior:
An honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle, and calm in the stable.

Veterinary report:
During the first week of testing, the stallion received preventive medication for his stomach. He showed no symptoms of illness.

New Dreams can improve suppleness and foreleg technique while contributing a good attitude and rideability to dressage horse breeding.
