Proven and future talents perform shows during the KWPN Stallion Show
Stallion holders play an indispensable role in Dutch breeding, and on Friday evening at the KWPN Stallion Show, their work will be put in the spotlight in a special way. Reesink Stallions, Van Uytert, and Van Olst Horses will present spectacular show segments, featuring some of the biggest talents from their stables.
Each stallion holder has their own focus and strengths, providing a unique opportunity to showcase the qualities of their stallion lineup. With these three show segments, they contribute to an evening full of inspiration for dressage horse breeders and pure enjoyment for dressage enthusiasts.
Bordeaux and United
Van Uytert’s first show segment is dedicated to the offspring of United (by Krack C) and his son Bordeaux. These two stallions will be presented in hand, while four of Bordeaux’s sons will be shown under saddle:
- Johnny Depp ridden by Renate van Uytert-van Vliet
- Merlot VDL ridden by Femke de Laat
- Livius ridden by Daniëlle Heijkoop
- Le Formidable ridden by Saskia Poel
Dancing Stallions
For Van Uytert’s second show segment, four stallions will put on a spectacular performance, accompanied by live music, making it a true celebration. The following combinations will enter the ring:
- Nordic Blue Hors (by Totilas) – ridden by Daniëlle Heijkoop
- Las Vegas (by Ferdeaux) – ridden by Diederik van Silfhout
- Incognito (by Davino V.O.D.) – ridden by Jill Bogers
- Just Wimphof (by De Niro) – ridden by Renate van Uytert-van Vliet
Power Masters in Movement
Van Olst Horses brings future stars Nacho (by Negro) ridden by Zandra Birkeland and Nalegro (by Painted Black) ridden by Charlotte Fry to Den Bosch. Later in the evening, Charlotte Fry will also deliver a stunning performance on Kjento (by Negro), who was crowned Dressage Horse of the Year 2022.
McLaren, What Else
Reesink Stallions presents the approved stallion McLaren (by Morricone), who will enter the Brabanthallen under Dinja van Liere. He will be joined by his four-year-old daughter McMary, ridden by Phoebe Peters, in a performance that dressage lovers won’t want to miss!
KWPN Stallion Show
From January 29 to February 1 2025, the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch will transform into the highlight of Dutch sport and breeding during the KWPN Stallion Show. Alongside the stallion selection, enjoy a fantastic program featuring thrilling sport and show classes showcasing the best of the Dutch sport horse world. Don’t have a ticket yet?
