Performance test report

Conformation:
Le Formidable is a well-developed, appealing stallion with a more than sufficient rectangular model. The head is appealing. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, length and muscling. The shoulder has good length and a good position. The withers are well developed and have more than sufficient length. The back is a bit sunken, more than sufficient in length and more than sufficiently muscled. The loins are more than sufficiently muscled and more than sufficiently connected. The croup is slightly sloping, more than sufficient in length and has good muscling. The hamstring has more than sufficient length. When viewed from the side, the foreleg is correctly set, when viewed from the front, the right front leg is slightly toed-out. The hindleg is a bit sickled. Both hind and front pasterns are long and weak. The foundation is more than sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are well developed, good in shape and of good quality. The heels are correctly developed.

Descendant:
Le Formidable, the champion of the KWPN Stallion Show 2019, is a son of the Grand Prix stallion Bordeaux, who has received his seventh approved son with Le Formidable at the KWPN.
The mother of Le Formidable is the mare Vienna, a daughter of the preferent Olympic dressage stallion Ferro. She is also the dam of the KWPN stallion Four Legends KS (by Wynton), a ZZ-Heavy horse by Wynton and a Z2 horse by the same father. Her mother Annabel, a daughter of the famous stallion De Niro, is a well-known broodmare. She is known as the mother of the KWPN stallions Bretton Woods (by Johnson), who is classified Inter I, and Chagall D&R (by Jazz) who started international Grand Prix under Patrick van der Meer. Annabel produced another ZZ-Heavy horse from Ferro and a daughter who is classified in the ZZ-L from Wynton.

Performance report:
Le Formidable is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to work with. The walk is regular, more than sufficient to good in space with more than sufficient flexibility. The trot is light-footed with a nice use of the front leg, has good space with a hindleg which should develop even more power. The canter is good uphill with a very good foreleg technique, good space but could have more power and impulsion. Le Formidable moves with good to very good posture, good balance and good flexibility. Le Formidable has a lot of talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.

Stable behaviour:
Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.

Veterinary report:
At the beginning of the examination, the stallion was treated by a physiotherapist.

The foundation is more than sufficiently developed and of good quality.
The walk has more than sufficient space and good flexibility.
The trot has more than sufficient space with a more than sufficient posture and a well placement of the hindleg under the body and a carrying hindleg. The foreleg is more than sufficient out of the shoulder.
The canter is powerful, has more than sufficient space, is well carried with a more than sufficient attitude.
