It’s going to be a bustling day on Friday at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. This is no surprise, given the impressive program, as the absolute top of the dressage world will be showcased at the Brabanthallen. With less than 200 tickets left, the event is nearly sold out.
Friday, January 31st, marks the third day of the KWPN Stallion Show, dedicated to dressage. The day kicks off with the second round viewing, followed by the presentation of selected dressage stallions and the newly approved dressage stallions for 2024 in the afternoon. The evening begins with the finals of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage, followed by the awards ceremony for the predicate stallions and the crowning of Glamourdale as ‘Dressage Horse of the Year 2024’. The night will end with spectacular shows that dressage enthusiasts can fully enjoy.
Presentation of the new generation of KWPN dressage stallions
One of the most anticipated events for breeders is the presentation of the new generation of KWPN stallions. How do these stallions perform under saddle, and how have they developed? Which of these stallions could be a future choice for your breeding program? Sixteen newly approved dressage stallions of 2024 will be presented to the public, giving you valuable insight into these promising talents.

Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage
The L-Class of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage has already been decided. Pina Colada, ridden by Bart Veeze, claimed victory in both Ermelo and Groningen, securing the championship. A total of twelve stallions will compete in this class. In the impressive setting of the Brabanthallen, stallions are given the opportunity to gain a positive experience in a welfare-conscious environment.
Neck-and-neck battle in the M-class
In the M-Class, the main contenders for the championship title are Secret Lover (by Secret), ridden by Charlotte Fry, and Obsession Taonga (by Vitalis), ridden by Lara van Nek. Ozzy TN (by Ibiza), with Kim Alting in the saddle, is also in the race for the title. Only these three stallions have qualified for the final, while the remaining stallions will be presented in a showcase. In the Z/ZZ-Class, three KWPN stallions will compete in the final. Leading the pack is Everest (by Especial), ridden by Charlotte Fry, followed by New Dreams (by Jerveaux), ridden by Adeline Cornelissen, and Network (by Just Wimphof), ridden by Femke de Laat. Newport (by Glock’s Toto Jr.) will be presented by Febe van Zwambagt in a showcase.
Honoring Glamourdale
The phenomenal Glamourdale, alongside his regular rider Charlotte Fry, has claimed numerous titles. The stallion, owned by Van Olst Horses, won a decisive majority of the votes, earning him the title Dressage Horse of the Year 2024. On Friday evening, this Kür winner of the fiercely contested FEI Dressage World Cup™ Qualifier in Amsterdam will take center stage in the Brabanthallen to receive his prestigious award. This is your chance to witness Glamourdale in person.
M-generation: the medal winners of tomorrow
Led by Massimo, the bronze medalist, spectators in the Brabanthallen can enjoy a breathtaking performance from six seven-year-old World Championship horses. How have these horses developed in recent months, and what are their prospects for international sport? The pairs appearing in the arena are:
