Natural talent Drummer 2000 TN Z claims the Stallion Competition class 1.10 title
The Blom Stallion Competition Jumping 1.10m was won at the beginning of Thursday afternoon at the KWPN Stallion Show by Kars Bonhof and Drummer 2000 TN Z. The son of Dominator Z was the fastest in the jump-off, winning not only the day's prize but also the competition title.
Fourteen stallions participated today in the Blom Stallion Competition Jumping 1.10m, with eight stallions qualifying for the final. Drummer 2000 TN Z (Diamant de Semilly out of China Touch Hero by Chin Chin) is the only stallion to remain clear in all rounds of the qualifiers and the final. With the fastest time in the jump-off, the victory could not escape the stallion, bred by Stud 2000 BV.
Natural talent
Kars Bonhof presented the stallion from Team Nijhof in the stallion competition. "The feeling with this horse has always been exceptional; he is a natural talent in every aspect," Kars said enthusiastically. "This is really a horse for the future. What we need to do is keep him healthy and train him properly. He is careful, has power, and is extremely rideable. What makes him unique in my eyes is his power combined with his attitude; I have rarely ridden horses with such an unbelievably good attitude."
Power Pool JR and Poseidon TCS
Christel Kalf was laden with sashes and rosettes during the prize ceremony. She not only claimed the reserve title but also received the third prize. The son of Liverpool, Power Pool JR (out of Zerna ster pref IBOP-spr sport-spr by Jacomar, bred by J. Regterschot from Heerde), finished just behind the winners with a quick jump-off. With Poseidon TCS (by Chacoon Blue out of Cor de la Crown Z by Crown Z), she had another strong competitor. This breeding product of Tim and Leida Collins from Riethoven finished third in both the day prize and the competition.
