On the second day of the KWPN Stallion Show, the jumper stallion selection committee designated eleven stallions, including three for the championship inspection later this afternoon.

At 08:00, the second round viewing continued with three more groups of jumper stallions. From these, the selection committee invited eleven stallions to participate in the performance test.

Championship inspection
Around 14:45, the championship inspection powered by Knegt is scheduled to take place. In addition to yesterday’s selected Chatinue son, Celtic VDL, the following stallions have been invited today:

  • Schnaps (Mattias out of Dolaris, ster IBOP-spr prest, by Cantos, breeder Hans de Roover from Strijbeek), owned by Reinie Tewis and HBC Stal.
  • Seger V (O’Neill van ’t Eigenlo out of Indira PB, ster IBOP-spr PROK, by Air Jordan Z), bred by Henk Verburgt from Randwijk.
  • Santiago (Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of Erina, ster pref prest PROK, by Kashmir van Schuttershof, breeders Henstra and Henstra from Drogeham), owned by VDL Stud

Additionally, sons of New Pleasure VDL, Highway TN, Landino VD, and Finishing Touch Wareslage have been selected for the performance test, bringing the total number of approved stallions to 27. Among them is the five-year-old Patapso (by Diamant de Semilly), a son of the Olympic mare Lintea Tequila. After several strong performances in the stallion competition, he only needed to be presented in hand today. Later this afternoon, one more stallion may be added to the collection for the performance test. Royal-Star M (by Poker de Mariposa) will first complete a small course to secure his place.
