Saturday, February 1st, the KWPN Stallion Show will not only showcase dressage and harness horses but will also feature the Gelder stallions, promising excitement and thrill. The best Gelder stallions will present themselves to the audience, and you won’t want to miss it.

In addition to the second round viewing, you’ll be able to admire the versatile Gelder horses that participated in the KWPN Stallion Competition for Gelder horses, and those that were approved in 2024 will also be presented to the public. A special show is also scheduled.

KWPN Stallion Competition for Gelder Horses
In the evening, the final presentation of the KWPN Stallion Competition for Gelder horses will take place. In the driving discipline (class M), only the Atze-son Odeer participated in the competition, driven by Henk Hammers. In the dressage class M, three Gelder stallions took part. The highest points were collected by Odin (v. Edmundo) under Dirk-Jan van de Water. Ojee-B (v. Ibsen B) under Anouk Slobbers won in Kronenberg, and Olaf Official (v. Henkie) also showcased his talents under Zoë Kuintjes. These Gelder stallions will be presented at the KWPN Stallion Show.

New generation of KWPN Stallions
The presentation of the new generation of KWPN stallions is one of the most exciting parts for breeders. The Gelder stallions Raffael K (v. Alexandro P) and Royal King (v. King Karim) will demonstrate their progress under saddle. Raffael K passed the spring test with an impressive score of 9 for his walk and was praised for his movement and work ethic. The same praise applies to Royal King, who passed the autumn test with a score of 9 for his canter.

KWPN Stallion Show
From January 29 to February 1 2025, the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch will transform into the highlight of Dutch sport and breeding during the KWPN Stallion Show. Alongside the stallion selection, enjoy a fantastic program featuring thrilling sport and show classes showcasing the best of the Dutch sport horse world.
