Six dressage stallions qualify for the KWPN Stallion Show through the after inspection
The first round viewing powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten was completed today with the after inspection. Six dressage stallions have received an invitation for the second round viewing through this route.
The stallion inspection committee for Gelder horses evaluated two stallions, neither of which were selected, while the dressage stallion inspection committee evaluated 22. Of these 22, six stallions have been invited to the next selection round, five of which are bred in Germany. The total number of dressage stallions advancing to the second round viewing is 87 (nearly three-year-olds), supplemented by Pavo Cup champion Nashville SW.
Complete stallions
"Certainly in terms of bloodlines, it was a good today. Of course, there could have been a few more, but we were able to maintain the line that we set at the beginning of the first round viewing. These six fit well into the collection, and today we saw a few truly complete stallions in the ring: stallions that can convince in terms of conformation, movement, and pedigree," said chairman Bart Bax. "We feel good after this first round viewing and are very curious to see how the stallions will develop further and present themselves in Den Bosch. There, we will evaluate which stallions we would like to test under saddle in the performance test. This first round has allowed us to make a strong initial selection, and we move forward with great confidence towards the KWPN Stallion Show." The five German-registered stallions who received the green light today are all registered under the name of Reesink Horses, marking their significant influence on this after inspection.
