Under Bas Moerings, the KWPN-approved stallion Ovinio (by Ipsthar) showed his best form today in the Blom Stallion Competition, securing the victory in the M class.

If any combination was capable of holding Danny Schaper and the Cornet Obolensky-son Obelix JJ van de Woestenheide (out of Kwantchi ster sport-spr by F-One USA, bred by Jos Meuleman and the Schaper family) from the top spot, it was Bas Moerings with Ovinio (out of Kovinia sport-spr by Vigo d'Arsouilles, bred by Geert Moerings). Danny was eager for the win and came out of the starting blocks quickly with Obelix JJ van de Woestenheide, who was approved by the KWPN. As one of the last competitors, Bas Moerings improved his result. He could rely on the full commitment of his careful, cooperative, and quick-reflexed jumper Ovinio, earning them the orange ribbon in IJsselmuiden.

In Good Form
Behind these two fast riders, Jarno van Erp secured third place with the also double-clear jumping KWPN-approved stallion Oslo (Côte de Zélande out of Kelvira elite IBOP-spr D-OC by Chaman), bred by Mark van Heel and co-registered by Joop van Uytert. This combination had already reached the final of the World Championship for Young Jumping Horses in Lanaken this past September and has now also started the indoor season well. The stallion, who gallops and jumps with much power, showed a lot of potential today. Equal for fourth place were the KWPN-approved stallions Telstar JM TN (Ermitage Kalone out of Frauke by Muscaris d'Ariel, bred by Hengstenhouderij Van Dijck in Broechem) under Kars Bonhof and On the Spot (Diamant de Semilly out of Kathelien W keur IBOP-spr by Cornet Obolensky) under his co-breeder Willem Greve.
