Several stallions entered the arena today during the first round viewing, impressing with both their conformation and movement. A total of 17 stallions were selected for the KWPN Stallion Show.
In the morning session of the first round viewing, powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, a total of 14 stallions appeared, with several withdrawals. Of these, seven were invited for the second round viewing. In the afternoon, 26 stallions entered the arena in four groups, of which 10 received the green light.
Well Judged
"It was a positive day today, and we were able to maintain the momentum from yesterday. Compared to yesterday, we saw more complete stallions today, meaning stallions that impressed with both their conformation and movement. This gives us good hope for Den Bosch," said committee chairman Bart Bax. "There was a lot of calm in the arena, which allowed us to assess the stallions well overall. In the last group, there were some stallions that were a bit more tense, but we were able to give them time to relax during the performance and the walk. Additionally, we didn't need to make many remarks about the foundation during the trot, which was also a positive point." The bloodlines were very diverse today, with three selected sons of top sire Bordeaux making a notable impact. Two sons of For Ferrero were also selected for the KWPN Stallion Show.
