Green light for Nashville SW and 16 three-year-olds in the first round viewing
On the first day of the first round viewing powered by AJ Bedrijfsdiensten, the stallion selection committee was able to select 16 stallions for the KWPN Stallion Show.
In the final group, three sons from the second crop of Total McLaren were selected for the second round viewing. Two stallions from Vivino got green light, as well as from the stallion Secret. Among these two selected Secret sons is Nashville SW, who won the Pavo Cup both as a four- and six-year-old and is now invited to be assessed once again under saddle in the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition. "We saw him in the first competition of the stallion competition and only assessed him today on the hard surface. In the next competition, we will re-evaluate Nashville SW and then he could be selected for the second round viewing in Den Bosch," explains committee chairman Bart Bax.
Complete stallions
"Furthermore, we were able to select a nice group of young stallions for the second round viewing. In the morning, it was a bit of a challenge to find the complete picture in terms of correctness, conformation, and movement, but in the afternoon, we certainly saw a group of complete stallions enter the arena. This was also the case for the selected sons of Total McLaren, who made a strong impression." Overall, a great start of the first round viewing. "We certainly look back on this first day with a positive feeling and hope to maintain this momentum in the coming days, as this will lead to an interesting collection for Den Bosch."
