Nine jumper stallions heading towards the final presentation
Upcoming Saturday, the final presentation of the autumn performance test will take place. Meanwhile, three jumper stallions have left the KWPN center, and nine are still progressing towards the final presentation.
The stallion selection committee, consisting of chairman Wout-Jan van der Schans, Eric van der Vleuten, and Bart Henstra, along with senior inspector Henk Dirksen, convened today to assess the 11 remaining three- and four-year-old jumper stallions. Earlier this week, the performance test of Pride, a son of Chaclot, had already concluded. "As it stands now, we will take seven 3.5-year-olds and two 4.5-year-olds to the final presentation this Saturday. Today, the performance tests for Red Bull, a son of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, and Rockwell VM, a son of Lay Out, were ended. Given that the performance test lasts only 21 days, the stallion selection committee must make clear selections, and if the desired progress is not observed, there’s no point in continuing at this time. However, we are heading towards the conclusion of this performance test with a strong group of stallions, which gives us confidence for Saturday," explained Henk Dirksen.
The final presentation will begin at 9:00 AM with the jumping stallions. The schedule is as follows:
Group 1 (09:00 AM)
3) Regulus D (Diamant de Semilly x Crown Z)
