Saddle presentation of the dressage stallions went well
Today, 20 selected dressage stallions and three stallions for the re-evaluation came to Ermelo for the first saddle presentation. Overall, they were well assessed.
Of the three stallions that participated in the re-evaluation, one was invited to the next saddle presentation on October 30. This is Radetzky H, a son of Lennox U.S. (out of Verona ster IBOP-dress pref by Negro, bred by Hamers from Rosmalen), owned by H.W.S. Sanders from Wijchen and Stal Leeuwenhof from Leur.
Second saddle presentation
“The day went well, and overall, the stallions were presented nicely. We definitely saw a number of good stallions today, as well as a few that are still a bit too green to be optimally assessed. After each group, we had a brief discussion with the owners and provided some tips and advice. For a few stallions, we advised them to come back at a later date, but we look forward to seeing most of them again with much confidence in two weeks,” says committee chairman Bart Bax. “Last spring, we referred some stallions to the fall, and based on what we saw today, that was a good decision. It’s best for everyone if the stallions can easily perform the required tasks.” The second saddle presentation will take place on November 11. On that day, the jumping stallions will also be presented; they will have their first saddle presentation on October 23—just like the Gelder stallions, which will be presented on November 4.
