Today, the fifth collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction has been unveiled. Bidding will be open on a wide selection of 35 dressage foals and 10 show jumping foals from September the 13th to 16th. The collection offers something for everyone, with prominent damlines represented and notable sires such as Vitalis, Extreme US, One Million, Le Formidable, Vaderland, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, and Ermitage Kalone contributing offspring to this auction.

Over the past few years, the auction platform KWPN Auctions has developed into an international showcase where breeders and buyers frequently come together. This season, seven editions of the KWPN Online Foal Auction are scheduled from July through October and this is the fifth edition.

Competitive families
Among the dressage foals, several dams and granddams boast impressive sport performances. The dam of the colt Umbroso (O'Toto van de Wimphof x Wynton) competed at Small Tour level herself and is a half-sister to, among others, the international U25 Grand Prix horse Blof. The granddam of Unalaska (Desperado x Indian Rock) also competed at Small Tour level, while the granddams of Unaleda (Debutant PS x All At Once) and Utopia d'Or (Gotcha-Utopia x Uphill) competed in the ZZ-Zwaar (5th level) classes. The dam of Uvaro (Filou x Zhivago) competed at Z2 (3rd-4th) level and is a half-sister to two Small Tour horses. The colt Unic (Vaderland x Iconic B) traces back to the Small Tour mare Roxcella in the third generation, who is the dam of the KWPN-approved Small Tour stallion Zardando. Another example of a promising foal is Unlimited, a son of Obsession Taonga (ds.Stedinger), who is a sibling to three Small Tour horses. The granddam of the filly Una-Mas (Sanceo x Totilas) competed at ZZ-Licht (4th) level and produced the international (U25) Grand Prix horses Caron RT and Jillz Lonka RT. The For Ferrero filly Unique (ds.Spielberg) traces back to a Small Tour mare in the third generation, who herself produced the international Grand Prix horse Ulrich.

Successful relatives
Several showjumping foals are related to 1.60m level horses. A prime example is the genetically interesting filly Uzicanta (Night Life VDL x Diamant de Semilly), who is a granddaughter of the 1.60m mare Cantate. The colt Unique T (Allroad Z x Zirocco Blue VDL) was bred from a half-sister of the 1.60m horse Darosso VDL, and the filly Unkyvola JE (Neymar VDL x Toulon) was bred from a half-sister of the 1.50/1.60m level jumping horses Carbani, Gossi Mijne, and Kartouche. Additionally, foals from the strong Molga and Termie damlines are also available in this auction.
