The third day of the KWPN Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup concluded with the semifinal for four-year-olds, where the KWPN-approved Pagani of the Paddocks and Pasquino van de Hagenhorst topped the leaderboard.

As the last starter, Pagani of the Paddocks (Catoki out of Lewinsky by Corofino I, breeder Anthony Mornie), ridden by Stal Hendrix's Pietro Lazzaro, received the highest points. The KWPN-approved stallion, bred from the half-sister of the Olympic top stallion Clinton, jumped with excellent body use and athletic ability, scoring an 8.5. His fantastic rideability was rewarded with a 9 by judges Nathalie van der Mei and Angelique Hoorn. Under Marco Sas, the KWPN-approved stallion Pasquino van de Hagenhorst (Hardrock Z out of the international sport mare Happy Linda elite IBOP-spr sport-spr PROK by Eldorado van de Zeshoek), bred by Jelke Heida and Herman Verhagen, also impressed. This stallion, who made a strong impression in the performance test last spring, continued his form in the KWPN Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup, jumping with power, impression, and ability to twice score 8.5. The top three in this semifinal was completed by the light-footed F-One USA daughter VDL Groep Prima Donna (out of Alexia Z by Air Jordan Z, breeder Stoeterij Duyselshof) ridden by Natalia Majchrowicz. She scored an 8.5 for jumping and a 7.8 for her movement between the obstacles.

Multiple Stallions
The top 25 combinations have qualified for tomorrow's final, with all horses scoring at least 22.5 points today. Among them are also the KWPN-approved stallions Poseidon TCS (Chacoon Blue out of Cor de la Crown Z by Crown Z, breeders Egbert Schep and Tim and Leida Collins) ridden by Gerd-Jan Horsmans, Portlaw Keizersberg (Aganix du Seigneur out of Anoulavsca Fortuna ster pref prest PROK by Kreator xx, breeder Stal Keizersberg) ridden by Jinse van der Haegen, and the somewhat fresh but well-jumping Stal Hendrix competition winner Pinacolada van Seldsum (Dominator Z out of I-Nabalia SMH ster PROK D-OC by Namelus R, breeder Minne Hovenga) ridden by Joy Lammers.
