No one could match the speed of Bas Moerings and the KWPN-approved stallion Ovinio today in Ermelo. In this second round, 41 five-year-olds remained faultless.

Bas Moerings proved that he is in top form with his young talents during the KWPN Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup by securing not only the fastest but also the second-fastest faultless round with two horses from his own breeding.

Moerings Celebration
With the KWPN-approved stallion Ovinio (Ipsthar out of Kovinia sport-spr by Vigo d’Arsouilles, bred by Geert Moerings from Roosendaal), Bas emerged as the winner in this second round at the 1.20m level. His biggest competitor was himself, riding Oysther, a son of Denzel van ’t Meulenhof (out of Ralvesther elite sport-spr PROK by Calvaro Z, bred by Geert Moerings). Geert Moerings also had a successful day, finishing thirteenth with the homebred Oblisther (Vigo d’Arsouilles out of Blisther keur sport-spr prest by Farmer).

Double Clear
The KWPN-approved stallions Oslo (Côte de Zélande Delta Mossel Z out of Kelvira elite IBOP-spr D-OC by Chaman, breeder M. van Heel from Wijchen) ridden by Jarno van Erp, On and On MB (Baltic VDL out of Koosje de Roblesse ster sport-spr by Harley VDL, bred by Mirjam Bierings) ridden by Rob Heijligers, Agalandro Keizersberg (Aganix du Seigneur out of Corione Fortuna ster prest PROK by Colandro, bred by Stal Keizersberg) ridden by Joël Siersema, One Macoemba (Arezzo VDL out of K.Macoemba ster D-OC by F-One USA, bred by Bert Veeneman) ridden by Tani Joosten, and Tattoo H&DB TN (Parfait van het Schaeck out of O’Mega H&DB by Kannan, breeders De Bock & Heyrman) ridden by Fabiënne Lichtenvoort-Cats remained faultless for the second day in a row and they seem assured of a spot in the final on Thursday.
