In the first round of the semi-finals of the KWPN Van Santvoort Makelaars Cup, 67 five-year-olds managed to complete a clear round in Ermelo, marking a strong start.

Over 100 combinations participated in the semi-finals for five-year-old showjumping horses, with two-thirds keeping a clean slate. The second round is scheduled for tomorrow in Ermelo.

Eight KWPN-Approved Stallions
Among the clear combinations were last year's four-year-old winner, Willem Greve’s Otazu (Lord Pezi out of Dolores MB by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) ridden by Martine van den Eijnden, and the KWPN-approved stallions: Oosterbuur (Etoulon VDL out of Coletta by Cornado I, breeder A. Baumann) ridden by Kees Greve, Oslo (Côte de Zélande Delta Mossel Z out of Kelvira elite IBOP-spr D-OC by Chaman, breeder M. van Heel) ridden by Jarno van Erp, On the Spot (Diamant de Semilly out of Kathelien W keur IBOP-spr by Cornet Obolensky, breeders Jan and Willem Greve) ridden by Mart IJland. Also, the KWPN-approved stallions On and On MB (Baltic VDL out of Koosje de Roblesse ster sport-spr by Harley VDL, breeder/owner Mirjam Bierings) ridden by Rob Heijligers, One Macoemba (Arezzo VDL out of K.Macoemba ster D-OC by F-One USA, breeder/owner B. Veeneman) ridden by Tani Joosten, Onassis TN (Grandorado TN out of Hella stb D-OC by Quasimodo van de Molendreef, breeder Stefan Wijnveen) ridden by Kars Bonhof, Tattoo H&DB TN (Parfait van het Schaeck out of O’Mega H&DB by Kannan, breeders De Bock and C. Heyrman) ridden by Fabiënne Lichtenvoort-Cats and Agalandro Keizersberg (Aganix du Seigneur out of Corione Fortuna ster prest PROK by Colandro, breeder/owner Stal Keizersberg) ridden by Joël Siersema.
