The Pavo Cup also served as an opportunity to register stallions for the stallion selection. Through this selection process via the Pavo Cup, Red Viper received an invitation for the performance test.

On Thursday, Red Viper (Romanov Blue Hors out of Zolena elite EPTM-dres sport-dres PROK by Sir Sinclair, bred by C. Kerbert from Enschede) was evaluated for the stallion selection based on conformation, walk, and trot on hard ground. Following this, the dressage stallion selection committee assessed the stallion from Reesink Horses under saddle in both the semi-final and the final. Based on these evaluation moments, Red Viper has been selected for the performance test, subject to the inspection of his foals and meeting the veterinary requirements.

Under the saddle of Bart Veeze, Red Viper won the Pavo Cup final for five-year-old dressage horses today.
