Only three beautiful four-to seven-year-old Gelder mares appeared in the ring to compete for the National title, which was ultimately won with flair by the very complete Pleasure.

Pleasure (by Kardieno) out of elite mare Wodine (by Larix). A mare with much flair and excellent leg technique, moving uphill and always in the correct posture. She was bred by father and daughter, Chris and Heleen de Bruijn from Wijk bij Duurstede. Marloes van der Velden explained the jury's choice: “This mare fits well within the Gelder horse type, a modern mare with beautiful leg technique. In motion, she also shows a lot of body use, and she can step very nicely.” Chris commented, “She presented herself very well, but it all has to come together in the ring. We didn't dare to expect this, but we certainly hoped for it, and it turned out well!”

The reserve title went to Nina-Amanda, an elegant daughter of Alexandro P out of the champion producer Amanda II (ster pref prest by Farrington). She was bred by Henk Hekkert in Wijhe and is registered with Coco Soffers from Nispen.
