The stallions Comthago VDL and Impian D have been recognized by the KWPN. The jumping stallion selection committee is positive about these two jumper stallions, and the General Board has formalized the recognitions.

The ten-year-old Comthago VDL is successful in the sport with Hessel Hoekstra. This year, the duo placed second at the National Championships in Deurne and fifth in the Grand Prix of Jumping Peel en Maas. The stallion has been active in breeding for several years, producing fourteen elite mares, one keur mare, and nine ster mares from his first crops. His oldest offspring are now competing at 1.30m level.

Pedigree
Comthago VDL is a son of the KWPN-recognized Comme Il Faut, who was successful at the highest level with Marcus Ehning. Comme Il Faut is an descendant from the KWPN-recognized Cornet Obolensky and the Olympic mare Ratina Z (by Ramiro). Comthago VDL's dam is Natasia V, a daughter of Carthago, who competed at 1.30m level. Granddam Joyce I (by Caretino) competed at 1.50m level.

Requirements
Comthago VDL complies with the PROK requirements, and his conformation evaluation shows no remarks. Comthago VDL has a genomic breeding value of 97 (49% reliability) and is not a carrier of the WFFS gene.

Impian D
The eleven-year-old Impian D is very successful in the sport with Henk Frederiks. Frederiks and Impian D recently placed ninth at the National Championships in Deurne and ninth in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam. The duo also excelled in the Grand Prix of Ebreichsdorf, Austria, and Impian D placed seventh with the team in the 2023 Nations Cup Final. His oldest offspring are already competing at 1.30m level.

Pedigree
Impian D, bred by H. van Doorn from Lunteren, is a son of Bubalu VDL. This descendant of the Grand Prix stallion Baloubet du Rouet competed at the highest level with Jur Vrieling, winning gold at the WEG in Caen and the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. Dam Outlaw D, a daughter of Lux, is a ster and prestatie mare and competed at 1.35m level. Besides Impian D, she produced the 1.50m horses Untouchable and The Freak 3, both by Andiamo. In combination with Carosso VDL, she produced a 1.30m and a 1.40m horse, and Impian D’s full brother Joss D competes at 1.40m level. Granddam Kassian, a ster mare by the preferent World Cup winner Libero H, competed at 1.40m level.

Impian D complies with the radiological requirements set by the KWPN, and his conformation evaluation shows no remarks. Impian D has a genomic breeding value of 102 (60% reliability) and is not a carrier of the WFFS gene.
