Raffael K (s.Alexandro P) passes 35-day test
The only participant in the performance test for Gelder horses received excellent scores and KWPN approval. Raffael K (s.Alexandro P) passed with a score of 9 for his walk.
The Gelder horse stallion inspection committee evaluated the three-year-old Raffael K (Alexandro P out of Madora ster by Heliotroop) from breeders G. Kamphorst and G.H. Kamphorst from Zwartebroek and co-registered owners J. van Veluw from Putten and K.J.L. de Groot from Maarssen. Additionally, two five-year-old, already approved Gelder stallions were assessed on the outdoor terrain.
Eagerness and willingness to work
Chairwoman Marloes van der Velden explained Raffael K's approval. “This three-year-old stallion performed satisfactorily in all evaluations but was slightly injured today, so we only presented him in-hand at the walk. Our judgment had already been made; he is a sympathetic stallion that fits well within the Gelder type and has shown good performance. He is cheerful, attentive, and demonstrates a lot of eagerness and willingness to work. He moves actively, with good power and strong hind leg use in the trot. We were able to evaluate him both indoors and outdoors during this test, and he will later perform a driven test.” The five-year-olds Olaf Official (s.Henkie) and Obrian (s.Vigaro) received their final evaluations for driven work, as they were assessed both indoors and outdoors. They also performed satisfactorily. Olaf Official passed with nines for his walk, canter, and suitability.
