After the KWPN Stallion Show, the spring performance test is already gearing up. We list the dates of the saddle presentations and the deliveries here.

For the three-year-old selected jumper, dressage, and Gelder horse stallions, the 35-day performance test begins on April 9th. It starts with the saddle presentation, followed by the stallions' delivery.

Older dressage stallions
The older designated dressage stallions undergo a test of approximately 21 days, with three saddle presentations beforehand. Older dressage stallions have their first saddle presentation on March 18th, followed by the second saddle presentation on April 9th, and the final saddle presentation combined with the delivery on April 22nd.

Older jumper stallions
he older jumper stallions also undergo a test lasting approximately 21 days. Prior to the performance test, there are two saddle presentations on April 9th and 23rd, with April 23rd also being the delivery date.

Older Gelder horse stallions
For the older Gelder stallions, the performance test lasts approximately 28 days, with two saddle presentations on April 9th and 15th. The final saddle presentation is also the delivery.

Saddle presentations
During the saddle presentation, the stallions appear under saddle in the arena, ideally two or three at a time. The stallions are shown in walk, trot, and canter by their own rider, following the jury's instructions. For the jumper stallions, they are then asked to make a few jumps. The aim is to assess if the stallions are trainable, and if applicable, additional information will be communicated to the registrants to prepare for delivery.

Voluntary performance test and retest under saddle
Stallions that have participated in the stallion selection process can participate in the voluntary performance test. Re-riding is possible for four-year-old stallions during the first saddle presentation of the respective breeding direction. Three-year-old stallions from the autumn are eligible for re-riding.
