Five complete dressage stallions honored as premium stallions
In the presentation of the premium dressage stallions powered by Knegt, it was a reunion with five stallions that convinced in terms of conformation, movement, and pedigree.
The presentation of the premium stallions formed a beautiful conclusion to the stallion selection during the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. Out of a total of 46 selected stallions, the five most complete ones returned to be honored and explained by committee chairman Bart Bax.
Highly complete
Gertjan van Olst had two stallions awarded premiums. Firstly, the Glamourdale son Rayano (out of Kalista elite IBOP-dres D-OC by Cum Laude, breeder H. Verthriest from Nevele). "This long-lined stallion has a lot of presence, a very strong use of the hind leg in trot, and a lot of balance and impulsion in canter," said Bart Bax about this selected stallion. Like Glamourdale, Lantanas also had three sons selected, including the premium Rumble VDK (out of Cantasia ster pref PROK by Negro, breeder H.R.J. Vorselen from Thorn) from Van Olst Horses and Domoplan from Brno-Mesto. "This is an athletically modeled stallion that excels with his good use of the hind leg in movement." Stallion owner Joop van Uytert also took the stage twice. Firstly, thanks to the premium of Rohan (Jameson RS2 out of Hera keur IBOP-dres sport-dres by Easy Game, breeder Stables Lisman International), which he owns together with John Tijssen.
Premium
"This upwardly built stallion repeatedly convinced with his good posture and balance in movement." The Light Tour stallion Vaderland was designated today and had two sons selected for the performance test, including the premium Rome USB (out of Halina ster prok D-OC by Zambuka, breeder S.D.M. Beckers from Roermond) from Stal Brouwer and Joop van Uytert. "This is a very elegant stallion with a very appealing front. He moves with a lot of flexibility in the joints and can switch well in movement." Also awarded a premium was Rockstar Millionaire (D’Avie out of Santana van Hof Olympia elite sport-dres pref PROK D-OC by Sandro Hit) bred by Rebecca Dudley and co-registered by Yvon Kaptein and MT Stables. "This elegant stallion made a strong impression with his good impulsion and leg technique in movement. All in all, five very complete stallions that we look forward to seeing in the performance test," said Bart Bax.
