46 dressage stallions have qualified for the performance test
On the final day of the KWPN Stallion Show, 21 dressage stallions received an invitation for the performance test, bringing the total to 46 stallions, including the Small Tour stallion Vaderland.
After 25 stallions were already invited for the performance test yesterday, today the stallion selection committee added 20 three-year-olds and one older stallion. The Small Tour stallion Vaderland (by Vitalis) had two sons selected and earned an invitation for the five-day character test himself. Dinja van Liere presented him under saddle.
Quality across the board
From his first crop, Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC had two sons selected, and also from Glamourdale (3), Kjento (2), Lantanas (3), and Le Formidable (2), multiple sons were selected for the performance test. "We have been able to select a group of very complete stallions, and considering the bloodlines, and the variety thereof, we have every reason to look forward to the performance test with great confidence," says chairman Bart Bax. "The line we set out in the first round viewing has been well maintained here in Den Bosch, and so we have reached a nice number of 46 stallions. We are never led by numbers, but this is characteristic of the good quality across the board."
