Earlier, we announced that a spectacular harness horse demonstration is scheduled for Saturday afternoon during the KWPN Stallion Show. Olympic equestrian Adelinde Cornelissen will showcase to the large audience that harness horses are not out of place in the dressage arena.

For this showcase, five harness horses will enter the arena, all of whom have earned their merits in the dressage ring. The first four names were already announced, and now influencer and dressage rider Esra de Ruiter has also confirmed her participation.

Strong participants
Esra de Ruiter will ride her chestnut gelding Halloween (by Makari Jetsetter) in the Inter II. Esra de Ruiter is known for, among other things, Paardenpraat TV and the numerous shows and clinics she conducts. In addition to Esra and Halloween, Grand Prix horses Zeronica (ridden by Anouk Noordman) and Cadans M with Kelly Zuidervaart will also be in action. Additionally, the Inter II-ranked Gerbandy and Harmina Holwerda, along with the ZZ-Light-ranked Kentucky ridden by Alexandra van de Sande, will participate.

Distinctive features
According to Adelinde Cornelissen, harness horses can indeed be suitable as dressage horses. "A harness horse has its own distinctive features in terms of movement, especially the action in the legs. This gives you a different technique in dressage exercises. Perhaps the harness horses will show that they have more technique for piaffe and passage than most people think. And that's what we'll demonstrate in this showcase." Curious? Then come to the KWPN Stallion Show on Saturday evening, February 3rd.

The KWPN Stallion Show is gearing up again.
