The past weeks, you've had the opportunity to vote for your favorites, and now the votes have been counted to reveal which stallions will be honored at the KWPN Stallion Show. The highly successful Highway TN N.O.P. received the most votes and, following numerous Grand Prix victories, adds a new title to his list of achievements: Jumping Horse of the Year 2023. On the evening of Thursday, February 1, the stallion from Team Nijhof will be present at the KWPN Stallion Show.

The Eldorado van de Zeshoek son takes over the title from his stablemate Grandorado TN N.O.P., another Grand Prix star owned by Willem Greve, who was honored as Showjumping Horse of the Year last year.

"I am extremely proud"
Under the guidance of Willem Greve, Highway TN (out of Zelana V reg.A PROK by Chellano Z, breeder P. Verdellen Paarden Fok & Opfok from Horst) demonstrated his excellence among the best show jumpers last year. He secured his first 5* Grand Prix win in Mechelen at the end of 2022, followed by a victory in the 5* Grand Prix of CHIO Rotterdam six months later. He also achieved a second place in the 5* Grand Prix of Falsterbo and in the 4* Grand Prix events of Valkenswaard and Maastricht. The stallion made his international championship debut, finishing in tenth place at the European Championship in Milan, the best result for the Netherlands. Willem Greve praised Highway TN after the championship, saying, "I am extremely proud of Highway TN. This was his first major championship, and the way he jumped every day was fantastic."

Highway TN's Honoring
Highway TN will be present at the KWPN Stallion Show on Thursday evening, February 1, especially for breeders. This evening promises to be fantastic for enthusiasts of show jumping and breeding, featuring finals of the Blom Stallion Competition Jumping, a presentation of the newest approved jumping stallions, and the honoring of the new predicate stallions. Details about the program will be announced in the coming weeks.
