22 stallions selected on the last regular day
On the last regular day of the first inspection, mainly sons of young stallions were presented. 22 of them have been selected, bringing the total to 85 jumping stallions, with only the re-inspection still ahead.
From their first crops, Mattias and Lambada Shake AG each had two sons advance to the second inspection. Lay Out also had two sons receive the green light. Other young stallions such as Lingo van de Watermolen, Mees van de Watermolen, Mindset ES, Messini de F, Lifeguard, and Komme Casall TN also had a son progress to the next selection round. "It was a positive day today. Especially in the afternoon, the offspring of the young stallions, we saw a lot of well-jumping stallions. That was the best part of the first inspection," says senior inspector Henk Dirksen. "In this way, the committee was able to conclude the first inspection with a very good feeling. In Den Bosch, they will continue to select based on conformation, free jumping, and the pedigree will carry more weight." On December 29, a number of jumping stallions are still expected at the re-inspection, after which the collection for the KWPN Stallion Show will be complete.
