Ralph van Venrooij re-elected in Executive Board WBFSH
Ralph van Venrooij and Eva Maria-Broomer have been jointly re-elected to the WBFSH board for the next three years. Eva Maria-Broomer has been reappointed as vice president from the AES, and Ralph van Venrooij has been re-elected as the leader of the Executive Board from the KWPN.
Van Venrooij and Broomer have been part of the WBFSH board for the past three years, and this has been extended for another three years during the recent WBFSH meeting. With this extension, Van Venrooij, who has been working as Head of Breeding Affairs at the KWPN since 2019, can effectively represent the interests of Dutch breeders.
Collaboration of importance
Van Venrooij is looking forward to his upcoming term: "International collaboration is of vital importance to ensure the sustainability of the international breeding and studbook world. Not only in terms of breeding techniques but especially when it comes to subjects like sustainability and the much-discussed 'social license.' Within the breeding world, we can take the necessary steps to explain what we do in society. I am once again committed to this with great pleasure."
