Bas Moerings 6th with Jesther in consolation final
The seven-year-olds that have not qualified for the final could conclude their WC today in the consolation final. Bas Moerings placed sixth here with his quick Cardento-son Jesther.
In this small final, a 1.40m course against time, 79 combinations entered the arena. Stefanie Saperstein secured an American victory with her Honesty CTV Z (s.Hoegie van ‘t Bergske) and Bas Moerings set the best Dutch result aboard Jesther (Cardento out of Vesther keur sport-spr prest by Guidam, bred by Geert Moerings from Roosendaal). The horse that is bred by the family has already secured many good results with Bas and the pair placed just ahead of Joyride (appointed, Verdi out of Rachel stb pref prest by Heartbreaker, bred by Gerrit Spronk) and Sara Vingralkova.
Tomorrow, the final for five-year-olds starts at 09.00hrs followed by the six-year-olds at 12.20hrs and the first seven-year-old is up at 15.15hrs.
