With a lead of 0.4%, Poetic Motion and Christine Falander Wold won the small final of the Sport Pro Horses Prize competition for 4-year-old dressage horses on the second day of the Longines FEI/WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. Their performance was rewarded with a score of 80.600%.

Swiss rider Charlotta Rogerson rode the striking elite sport-dressage PROK mare Nice Touch W (by Dettori) to a very impressive third place with 88.20% in the World Championship qualification for 6-year-olds, representing Switzerland. Just like last year, Nero (by Ferguson) under Bart Veeze was the best of his year class among the representatives for the Netherlands. With a score of 86.40%, they achieved an admirable sixth place.

Sixteen-year-old Desperado wins Grand Prix at the WC Young Dressage Horses

It was a ‘home victory’ for Emmelie Scholtens and her KWPN-approved stallion Desperado in the CDI3* Grand Prix held during the WC for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo. The Vivaldi offspring dominated yesterday. With a score of 71.80%, Desperado and Scholtens just managed to stay ahead of the German rider Dorothee Schneider and her Vivaldi son Vainqueur. The Vivaldi son Glock's Dream Boy is the sire of Holiday, who, under Gerdine Marree, finished third.

World Championship Four-in-Hand Driving: All Horses Fit to Compete Except One

The World Championship Four-in-Hand Driving in Szilvásvárad, Hungary, kicked off today with the veterinary inspection. Starting from 10:00 this morning, a total of 215 horses were inspected by the veterinarians. Only one horse did not receive the green light.

The World Championships for Four-in-Hand Driving in Szilvásvárad, Hungary, kick off tomorrow with the veterinary inspection. The dressage tests will be held over Thursday and Friday. The marathon will take place on Saturday, followed by the final driving phase on Sunday. From now until September 8, the best four-in-hand teams from fourteen countries around the world will compete for medals. In eleven teams from participating countries, one or more KWPN horses will pull the carriage. In total, 114 Dutch horses will be seen at the championship.

KWPN-approved stallion Bojengel makes debut at the Paralympic Games

The KWPN-approved stallion Bojengel makes his debut at the Paralympic Games this week. Bojengel was born at the stables of former Sligro CEO Abel Slippens. Before embarking on an international career as a Para Dressage horse, Bojengel was internationally successful in the Prix St. Georges under Tommie Visser and in the U25 with Hungarian rider Jazmin Yom Tov.
