Gold Again for Daula and Silver at the Paralympic Games
Paralympic debutant Demi Haerkens wins gold in the Paralympic freestyle after individual gold and team silver. Riding her elegant and light-footed EHL Daula II N.O.P. to a new freestyle, she achieved a world record and a personal best score of 83.840%. Sanne Voets and Demantur RS2 N.O.P. finished just outside the medals in fourth place.

Team silver and bronze for KWPN horses at the Paralympic Games
After the individual medals on Wednesday for EHL Daula II N.O.P., Demantur RS2 N.O.P., and Highlander Delight’s, these three horses have also secured a team medal at the Paralympic Games. The gold went to the United States, the Netherlands won silver, and Germany took bronze.

With a gold and silver medal for the KWPN horses EHL Daula N.O.P. and Demantur RS2 N.O.P., and another silver medal for the KWPN horse Highlander Delight’s, it was a successful day for the Dutch-bred horses.

KWPN-approved stallion Bojengel makes debut at the Paralympic Games
The KWPN-approved stallion Bojengel makes his debut at the Paralympic Games this week. Bojengel was born at the stables of former Sligro CEO Abel Slippens. Before embarking on an international career as a Para Dressage horse, Bojengel was internationally successful in the Prix St. Georges under Tommie Visser and in the U25 with Hungarian rider Jazmin Yom Tov.

Paris Olympics: Bronze for Maikel van der Vleuten; Leone Jei Finishes Tenth
In a jump-off where Maikel van der Vleuten was already assured of a medal, the Dutch rider secured the bronze. The best KWPN result was for Leone Jei, the son of Baltic VDL, who finished tenth with Martin Fuchs after a jumping fault.

Paris Olympics: Glamourdale Wins Bronze; Hermès Just Misses the Podium
Prior to the championship, it was expected that several combinations would be contenders for medals. The gold once again went to Dalera and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, the silver to Isabell Werth and Wendy de Fontaine. The KWPN stallion Glamourdale secured a beautiful bronze medal, followed by the KWPN stallion Hermès, who was just half a percent short of a podium finish.

Paris Olympics: Glamourdale, Fame, and Jägerbomb secure bronze for Britain
The top of the team competition was incredibly close at the upper end of the standings. The Danish team, featuring offspring of Vitalis and Blue Hors Zack, was very close to winning gold. The German team narrowly stayed ahead and claimed the gold team medal. Glamourdale, Fame, and Jägerbomb secured team bronze for Great Britain. The Netherlands finished fourth in the medal race.

Paris Olympics: Team Silver for Ilex; I.Amelusina R 51 Takes Team Bronze
The Dutch team faced a tense moment as they narrowly missed out on the team bronze medal. Despite a flawless round from Kim Emmen and Imagine, the Dutch team missed the bronze by approximately half a second. Representing the United States, Ilex delivered a beautiful clear round, securing the son of Baltic VDL a bronze medal. Meanwhile, competing under the French flag, I.Amelusina R 51 contributed to winning team bronze. The British team took home the gold.

Paris Olympics: Ilex Brings Americans to Second Place in Qualifying, Netherlands Fifth
The Olympic Games for the show jumpers began with the team qualification round. A knockout race in which the top ten teams earn a spot in the team final tomorrow. Ilex brought the American team to second place in this qualifier. The Netherlands, thanks in part to the excellent performance of Imagine and Kim Emmen, stands in fifth place. In total, four Dutch horses will compete in the team final for four different teams.

Paris Olympics: Glamourdale with 'More to Give' Finishes Fourth in Grand Prix
On the second dressage day of the Paris Olympics, Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale placed fourth. The black stallion, owned by Gertjan and Anne van Olst, was the first to enter the arena this morning, scoring 78.91%, with Fry noting there is still more potential to be tapped.

Paris Olympics: Champ de Tailleur and Fedarman B Deliver in Olympic Final
Two Dutch horses were in the top 10 of the Olympic eventing final in Paris. The best Dutch horse was Champ de Tailleur, who, ridden by Janneke Boonzaaijer, delivered clear round after clear round and finished ninth. Fedarman B, ridden by American Boyd Martin, took the tenth place. Michael Jung won gold for the third time.

Paris Olympics: Cekatinka's strong cross helps Japan secure historic team bronze
A historic day at the Paris Olympic Games. Although Cekatinka, bred by Jan Greve, did not compete in the show jumping event, her strong cross-country performance contributed to the team bronze for Japan. Janneke Boonzaaijer and Champ de Tailleur showcased their prowess in show jumping and are now in tenth place individually. The team gold went to the British, followed by France.

Bred by Jan Greve, Cekatinka brought the Japanese team to a provisional bronze position in the second eventing phase of the Paris Olympics. The best KWPN result is in Dutch hands: Janneke Boonzaaijer rode a historic round and is individually in sixteenth place.

Paris Olympics: Hiarado Elevates New Zealand Team to Provisional Fourth Place
Eight KWPN-bred horses competed in the first eventing phase of the Olympic Games in Paris. Of these, Fedarman B (sired by Eurocommerce Washington) achieved the highest dressage score of 69.54%.
