The first show of the KWPN Stallion Show 2025 is announced! On Friday evening, January 31, six seven-year-old World Championship horses will enter the ring for a spectacular show. Led by GLOCK's Massimo, the bronze medal winner, the audience at the Brabanthallen will witness horses that are hopefully the medalists of the future.

Numerous highlights during the KWPN Stallion Show 2025

The KWPN Stallion Show is just around the corner. From January 29 to February 2, the world’s largest stallion inspection event will take place. Ticket sales for members start on November 4 at 10:00 a.m., and for non-members a week later, on November 11. The new crop of dressage stallions is exceptionally promising. After 33 stallions were selected for the performance test in Den Bosch last year, this year there were no fewer than 46. The quality across the board is striking, and there is much to be expected from this young generation in terms of variety and bloodlines. In addition to 44 three-year-old dressage stallions, the successful Small Tour stallion Vaderland and Pavo Cup winner Everest are allowed to participate in the test in Ermelo.

Afterwards, he presented the KWPN Perfect Pair Prize for the most promising performance powered by Anemone Horse Trucks to Charlotte Fry and O’Frederic.

Three new dressage stallions with "keur" predicate

In the packed Brabanthallen, the audience rose to their feet for the impressive performance of Desperado, one of the three new Stallions with the "keur" predicate. Krack C was posthumously awarded the "keur" predicate, and Lottie Fry represented her Everdale Keur at the ceremony.

Extreme U.S. honored as the winner of Class L

The final result of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Class L was already known after the last selection, and during the KWPN Stallion Show, these stallions were once again presented to the public. The son of Escamillo, Extreme U.S., can now add the overall victory in this competition to his achievements.

Victory in Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage Class M for Nalegro

With a ten-point lead, Nalegro, a son of Painted Black, entered the final of the Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Dressage class M with the best cards. With multiple 9's and a total score of 89.6, the stallion, under Charlotte Fry, lived up to all expectations today, showcasing abundant strength.

Merlot VDL crowned winner of Stallion Competition Class Z

In the late afternoon, the KWPN Stallion Show set the stage for the stallions from the 2017 crop. The Anemone Horse Trucks Stallion Competition Class Z was won by Merlot VDL. Under the guidance of Femke de Laat, the stallion received an 8.7 for the trot, accumulating a total score of 84.2 points.

12 dressage stallions in presentation of the new crop/year

On the third day of the KWPN Stallion Show, the approved dressage stallions of the P-year showed themselves very well and workable. KWPN Stallion Inspection Committee member Johan Hamminga led the presentation and also emphasized the importance of a cooperative character.

25 stallions selected for performance testing

The stallion selection committee successfully selected 25 dressage stallions on the first day of the second round viewing. Among them, two have been chosen to return as premium stallions tomorrow.

VHO Trophy Goes to Lambada Shake AG

Tonight, Aganix du Seigneur's son Lambada Shake AG claimed the final event of Thursday's KWPN Stallion Show. As the last starter in the jump-off, the stallion, ridden by Pieter Keunen, delivered a fast faultless round, securing the VHO Trophy.

Four Wins for Stargos VDL secures title in Blom Stallion competition 1.30m

He came, saw, and conquered. The Stakkato Gold son, Stargos VDL, was once again unbeatable with Hessel Hoekstra in the saddle. With a flawless jump-off, victory in the Blom Stallion competition 1.30m class was well deserved.

New Pleasure VDL wins Blom Stallion Competition 1.20m

Although he didn't win todays competition, Hessel Hoekstra did not let go of the lead in the 1.20m class of the Blom Stallion Competition. New Pleasure (sired by For Pleasure) delivered consistent faultless rounds throughout the entire competition and secured the fourth position in today's jump-off.
