Lineage:The premium stallion New Pleasure VDL is a son of the top progenitor For Pleasure. This Furioso II-son ranks in both breeding and sport at the absolute top. He owes his success to multiple gold team medals and numerous victories in grands prix.
The dam of New Pleasure VDL is a full sister of both the BWP-approved international 1.60m Grand Prix-horse Elvis Ter Putte (s.Diamant de Semilly) and the DWB-approved Favorit Ask that competes at international 1.45m level. This Lady-A Ter Putte performed in the international1.40m classes herself. In addition, her sons Rock Star Ter Putte (s.Vagabond de la Pomme) and Quick-Star Ter Putte (s.Cordess) are approved at Zangersheide. Granddam Ukase Ter Putte (s.Darco) produced, besides Elvis Ter Putte and Favorit Ask, the international 1.60m Grand Prix-showjumper Eis Isaura (s.Tinka’s Boy). This incredibly successful damline continues with Quinette Ter Putte (Quidam de Revel x Furioso Z) that produced, in addition to the BWP-approved Bonjour Ter Putte (s.Lux) and the at Holstein and Oldenburg approved Darco de Revel (s.Darco), successful offspring in sports. As such, Quinette Ter Putte is the dam of the mentioned horses and international showjumpers, including the Grand Prix-horse Skyhorse (s.Calvaro Z) and the 1.45m-horse J’Adore Ter Putte (s.Berlin).
Performance Test Report:
New Pleasure VDL is a comfortable to ride stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion has abundant willingness to work and is very trainable. The walk is more than sufficiently in stride length and has a pure four-beat. The trot has sufficient scope and is light-footed. In movement, the stallion shows good posture and balance. The canter is light-footed with good scope and a very good balance, the stallion changes lead very well. New Pleasure VDL jumps in a good upward direction, with very good reflexes and lots of body-use. New Pleasure VDL jumps with a good technique in his legs. New Pleasure VDL appears careful, displays lots of overview and scope. As a jumper horse, New Pleasure VDL has great talent, and he gives his rider a very good feeling.
Stable behaviour:
Honest, reliable stallion, easy to handle and calm in the stable.
Breeding & pairing recommendation:
New Pleasure VDL can add jumper jumping quality, in particular athletic ability, attitude and rideability to jumper breeding.
