Conformation:

Mister Hornet DDH is a sufficiently-developed stallion who is correct in the rectangular model. The stallion has a slightly too long head. The stallion has a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck is horizontally-positioned, sufficient in length, and a lower neck. The shoulder is good in length and well-positioned. The whither is well-developed and good in length. The back is more than sufficient in length and well-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is well-positioned, good in length, and well-muscled. The pant muscle is good in length. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is slightly straight. The pasterns are good in length and slightly straight. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are well-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are well-developed.

Pedigree:

The influential KWPN recognized Cornet Obolensky, who like his sire and grandsire, jumped up to 1.60m level, has again with Mister Hornet DDH an approved son who is from a sporty damline. Mister Hornet DDH’s dam, Arnacquine du Mesnil, is performing at the 1.40m level in America. Her sire is Quarnac du Mesnil, who jumped up to 1.50m level together with the Frenchman Timothee Anciaume. Arnacquine du Mesnil brought a 1.30m level jumping horse by Calvaro and her dam Girandole (s.Bill de Baugy) is the dam of four 1.30m level jumping horses by Ogrion des Champs, Concorde, and Opium de Talma, and 1.40m level jumping horses by Arepege Pierreville and Harlay l’Echenau. Besides that, she among other horses, the granddam of the international 1.50m and 1.45m horses Azilis du Mesnil (s.Tinka’s Boy), Bugatti du Lys (s.Landsturm), and Gran Mamut (s.Toulon). Also, the third dam, Valserine II (s.Corrent) brought several better sport horses, like an international 1.40m horse by Quarnac du Mesnil.

Research report:

Mister Hornet DDH is an honest and loyal stallion with a more than sufficient attitude. The stallion shows much willingness to work and is easy to train. The stallion often shows is the tongue. The walk is sufficient to more than sufficient in length. The trot is sufficient to more than sufficient in length and suppleness. The canter is light-footed and good in length, and balanced. While moving, the stallion is more on the forehand and has more than sufficient balance. Mister Hornet DDH jumps quickly from the ground with a lot of use of the body. The stallion jumps with a good foreleg technique. The jump is finished very well on the hind. Mister Hornet DDH seems to be very careful and shows a lot of scope. As a jumping horse, Mister Hornet DDH shows a lot of talent and gives his rider a very good feeling.

The croup is well-positioned, more than sufficient in length, and well-muscled.

The pant muscle is good in length.

The foreleg is slightly toed in but furthermore correct.

The hindleg is correct.

The pasterns are of good length and correct.

The hooves are sufficiently-developed, of good quality with good heels.

The foundation is well-developed and of good quality.

Arnacquine du Mesnil is succesful in sport at the 1.40m level in the USA.
