Performance test report

Conformation:
Kilian is a well-developed, appealing stallion who is more than sufficiently rectangular with a slightly downward body direction. The head is sufficiently expressive with a nice eye. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good length, shape and muscle and is slightly deep out of the chest. The shoulder is good in length and a little straight in position. The withers are well developed and of good length. The back has good length, good shape and good muscling. The loins are more than sufficiently connected, of good length and more than sufficient muscling. The croup has a good position, more than sufficient length and good muscling. The hamstring continues for more than sufficient length. When viewed from the side, the foreleg is slightly positioned under the body and toed-out seen from the front. The hindleg is correctly set but a bit long. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are a bit narrow, well developed and of good quality. The heels are more than sufficiently developed and slightly uneven in height.

Descendant:
Kilian is a son of the top sire Sir Donnerhall, who was the five-year-old reserve champion at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and is now also gaining much reward with his offspring in Germany and in international sport. He combines the blood of the top sires Sandro Hit and Donnerhall in his pedigree. De Niro daughter Darina is Kilian's mother. De Niro is the father of many top-level sport horses, such as Desperado by Kristina Sprehe and Voice by Edward Gal, and has been leading the WBFSH stallion list for several years. A full brother of Kilian, Scheefuss, is classified in the Prix St. Georges in Germany. After this we find the mare Princess Ester, a daughter of the thoroughbred Prince Thatch xx. She has a full brother who is classified in the Z2.

Performance report:
Kilian is an honest, sympathetic and reliable stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion is eager to work and can be worked with easily by his rider. The walk is regular and good to very good in space and is shown with a lot of body use. The trot has good space with good carriage. The canter is light-footed, uphill, has a very good leg technique and has good space. Kilian moves with good flexibility, posture and balance. Kilian has much to very much talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.

Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.

Veterinary report:
The stallion was treated physiotherapeutically during the examination because of light stiffness. This has had a good effect.

Sperm test:
Expected fertilizing ability class: good.

Breeding / matching advice:
Kilian can add strength in the hindleg, rideability, attitude and contribute to the blood distribution within dressage horse breeding.

Darina is a more than sufficiently developed mare with a more than sufficient rectangular model.
The head is expressive with a nice large eye.
The neck has good length with a more than sufficient light head-neck connection.
The neck has good shape, good length and arm with muscling.
The withers are well developed and of sufficient length.
The shoulder has good length and a good position.
The back has more than sufficient length and is poorly muscled.
The loins are well muscled and well connected.
The croup has a good position, good length and plenty of muscle.
The hamstring has more than sufficient length.
The foreleg is correctly adjusted when viewed from the front and when viewed from the side, the foreleg is standing under the body and a bit back at the knees.
The hindleg is straight.
The pasterns are sufficient in length and set slightly weak.
The hooves are well developed and of good quality with slightly low heels.
The foundation is well developed and of good quality.
The walk has good space and has a lot of flexibility.
The trot has more than sufficient space with good posture, good suppleness and a good carrying leg. The foreleg is slightly tight.
The canter is powerful, good in space, carried with good posture.
