Maestro Gusto v/d Laarse Heide is well-developed, an appealing stallion who is good in the rectangular model. The stallion has an appealing head. The sneck is sufficient in length and has a light head-neck connection. The neck is horizontally-positioned, the length of the neck is sufficient and is more than sufficiently-muscled. The shoulder is good in length and well-positioned. The whither is well-developed and good in length. The back is good in length and well-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is well-positioned, sufficient in length, and more than sufficiently-muscled. The pant muscle is more than sufficient in length. The foreleg is slightly toed in but furthermore correct. The hindleg is correct. The pasterns are good in length and slightly weak. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are well-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are more than sufficiently-developed.

Pedigree:

The popular Cornet Obolensky son, Comme il Faut, was successful up to the highest level with Marcus Ehning and shows to be a strong inheritor, he is the sire of Maestro Gusto v/d Laarse Heide. Maestro Gusto v/d Laarse Heide is from the known Oberlina-foundation and his dam, Bella Donna vd Laarse Heide Z, jumped up to the 1.40m level. She is the daughter of the stallion Bustique, who jumped up to the 1.45m level together with Michel Hendrix. Bella Donna’s dam is the Grand Prix jumping horse Kwidanta keur prestatie sport-spr, who was successful with Mathijs van Asten, and was among other wins, the Dutch Champion of the senior riders. She has the foundation stallion Quidam de Revel as her sire and brought the NRPS approved stallion T-Kwitoulon v/d Laarse Heide by Toulon, and a 1.40m horse by Berlin. Continued by the dam Ardanta ster preferent prestatie (s.G.Ramiro Z), who was successful up to 1.30m level. She is the dam of several 1.30m and 1.40m jumping horses and the granddam of the Grand Prix horses Luciano vd Laarse Heide (s.Silvio I), Abdalmajeed Abu Shkewa, and Yajamila (s.Lux Z) from Henrik von Eckermann. She is also the granddam of international 1.40m and 1.45m horses by Chin Chin and Carolus II. In this damline we also see Marco Polo, Farn, and Balthazar.

Research report:

Maestro Gusto v/d Laarse Heide is an honest, intelligent, and sympathetic stallion with a very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to train. The walk is limited in length but sufficiently powerful. The trot is limited but sufficiently powerful. While moving, the stallion has more than sufficiently self-carriage and balance. The canter is light-footed, has more than sufficient length, and is slightly on the forehand. Maestro Gusto v/d Laarse Heide is jumping very well with an upward way of jumping with more than sufficient reflexes. The stallion jumps with a good foreleg technique and more than sufficient use of the back, and more than sufficient use of the hindleg.
