Conformation:

Mindset ES is a royal developed stallion, who is correct in the rectangular model with a slightly downward shape of the body. The stallion has a slightly longer head with an expressive eye. The neck is well in length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped, good in length, and well-muscled. The shoulder is good in length and well-positioned. The whither is well-developed and good in length. The back is good in length and well-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and well-connected. The croup is well-positioned, sufficient in length, and well-muscled. The pant muscle is well in length. The foreleg is correct. The hindleg is straight. The pasterns are well in length and correct. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are royal-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are well-developed.

Pedigree:

Mindset ES’ sire is the popular Aganix du Seigneur, who is the son of the Grand Prix stallion Ogano Sitte. Aganix du Seigneur was successful with Jos Lansink up to 1.55m level, until an injury ended his sports career. The Dutch mare champion, Hosanne ES, is Mindset ES’s dam, she is performing at the 1.45m level and was a finalist of the Blom Cup as a seven-year-old and participated at the World Championships of young jumping horses. She is the daughter of the top inheritor Kannan that passed away this year, who was successful at the highest level together with Michel Hecart. Hosanne ES’ dam, Seelotte ster preferent prestatie (s.Lancer II), is the dam of the KWPN stallion Extase (s.Casall), who is performing at the 1.45m level. She also brought Accent Z (s,Air Jordan Z), who is 1.50m classified. The third dam is Ilotte ster prestatie (s.Pilot), she is the dam of the KWPN stallion Oklund, who performed together with Eric van der Vleuten at Grand Prix level, and the recognized stallion Plot-Blue (s.Mr. Blue), who also jumped at Grand Prix level together with Marcus Ehning. Besides that, she brought several 1.35m and 1.30m horses by Holland and Lord Z, and she is the granddam of the Grand Prix horses Babylotte (s.Dollar du Murier) and Dakar TN (s.Nabab de Reve), and the KWPN stallion Elton John (s.Clearway), who is performing at the 1.50m level. Besides that, she is the great granddam of a big amount of international jumping horses from 1.30m level to 1.50m level.

Research report:

Mindset ES is an honest loyal and comfortable stallion with a good to more than sufficient attitude. The stallion shows much willingness to work and is easy to train. The walk is more than sufficient in suppleness and length. The trot is more than sufficient in length hand more than sufficiently powerful. The stallion has more than sufficient self-carriage and balances while moving. The canter is active with good length and bending of the hindleg, a good balance in which the stallion easily chances. Mindset ES is jumping upwards with good reflexes and more than sufficient use of the body. Mindset ES jumps with a good leg-technique. Mindset ES seems to be careful and shows a lot of athletic ability and overview. As a jumping horse, Mindset ES has more than sufficient talent and gives his rider a good feeling.
