Performance test report
Conformation:Kane-BFT is a well-developed stallion with a more than sufficient rectangular model. The head is sufficiently expressive with heavy jaws. The neck has sufficient length with a somewhat heavy head-neck connection. The neck has sufficient shape and length, which is heavily muscled and has a good position on the body. The withers are generously developed and of good length. The shoulder has good length and a good position. The back is good in length and strongly muscled. The loins are well muscled and very well connected. The croup has a good position, has good length and is sufficiently muscled. The hamstring has sufficient length. The front leg is slightly toed-out when viewed from the front and correctly when seen from the side and has a good length. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The hooves are generously developed and of hard quality with good heels. The foundation is well developed and of good quality.
Descendant:
The number three in the 2018 Stallion Show Champion Approval, Kane-BFT, is a son of the Hackney stallion Bocellie. This son of Plain's Liberator has already delivered two KWPN-approved sons; Icellie and the Hackney Bocellies Matteo. In his studbook Bocellie was, among other things, champion large-size stallions. The last year declared Keur Unieko is known as the father of Donna, the mother of Kane-BFT. Grandam Taroda (by Manno) is the dam of the mares Faroda (by Larix) and Geroda (by Atleet), who both achieved a respectable number of profit points. Faroda and Joyce Hoving reached the Finale der Nationale during the Harness Horse Day in 2017. Kane's great-grandmother Oda (by Renovo) is the mother of the well-known competition horse Vlam (by Larix) and she is the grandmother of the reserve champion of the Keur and elite mares of National Harness Horse Day 2017, Ilina (by Cizandro).
Performance report:
Kane-BFT is an honest and reliable stallion. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is more than sufficient to ride. The walk is sufficiently spacious and amply powerful. For the show car, the stallion puts the neck more on top of the body more than enough to good and he has more than enough body use. Kane-BFT has a lot of knee action and good shoulder freedom. The hindleg is more than sufficiently bent and more than sufficiently placed under the body. In trot, Kane-BFT has more than sufficient to much suspension moment. The stallion has a lot of enthusiasm to walk and more than sufficient to much talent as a harness horse. He makes his rider feel good. During the performance test the stallion showed a constant performance.
Stable behaviour:
Honest reliable stallion, easy going and calm in the stable.
Veterinary report:
No particularities have been established.
Sperm test:
Expected fertilizing ability class: good.
Breeding / matching advice:
Kane-BFT can add size, breed and appearance to the harness horse breeding and because of its low kinship, the stallion can also contribute to the blood distribution. Mares should have a front and a resolute placement of the hindleg under the body.
Report of the mother:
Donna is a well-developed mare with a good rectangular model and a slightly downward body direction. The head is expressive. The neck has more than sufficient length with a good head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, length and muscles and is well positioned. The withers are well developed and more than sufficient in length. The shoulder is more than sufficient in length and slightly straight. The back has good length and is poorly muscled. The loins are poorly muscled and sufficiently connected. The croup is slightly sloping, with sufficient length and arm. The hamstring has good length. The foreleg is placed toed-out when viewed from front and correctly viewed from the side. The foreleg should have more length and is slightly under the body. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The hooves are well developed and of good quality with sufficient heels. The foundation is more than sufficiently developed and of good quality. The walk has good space and strength. The trot has good space and the mare makes a lot of front. She has more than sufficient posture and the use of the foreleg is sufficient. The use of the hindleg is good.
Donna achieved the following points at the studbook inspection in 2012:
Conformation: 73, Movement: 70, General Impression: 71
