Conformation:
Kuala Lumpur is a more than sufficiently developed stallion who is more than sufficiently in a rectangular model. The head is sufficiently expressive. The neck has good length with a light head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, more than sufficient length and good muscling. The shoulder is more than sufficient in length and slightly straight in position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and more than sufficient in length. The back has good length and good muscling. The loins are well connected and well-muscled. The croup is slightly sloping, of sufficient length and good muscling. The hamstring has good length. The foreleg is correctly positioned when viewed from the side as well as from the front. The hindleg is correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The foundation is well developed and of good quality, the stallion has much bone. The hooves are well developed, slightly broad in shape and of sufficient quality. The heels are more than sufficiently developed.

Descendant:
Arezzo VDL, a son of the Olympic stallion Chin Chin, won many prizes at the highest level under the saddle of Jessica Kürten and Jur Vrieling. Kuala Lumpur is the fifth KWPN-approved son of the stallion Arezzo VDL. The dam of Kuala Lumpur is the elite IBOP-jumping PROK mare Filandra JR, a daughter of the preferent show jumping horse supplier Indoctro and she achieved great results during the IBOP. Two of her half-brothers, both descended from Indorado, are very successful in international sport: Velvet jumps at 1.45m level and Gianni Govoni had an international trump in Gray Star (studbook name Ulrik FZ BZ). Their mother Lilandra star preferent performance is descended from the also preferent "stallion of the century", Nimmerdor. Further in the dam line of Kuala Lumpur, we find the stallion Unique and the preferent Farn.

Performance report:
Kuala Lumpur is an honest and reliable stallion with a good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is easy to very easy to work with. The walk has more than sufficient space and flexibility. The trot has more than sufficient to good space and flexibility. The canter is more than sufficiently powerful and has good space with more than sufficient elasticity. In movement, the stallion has more than sufficient posture and a good balance. Kuala Lumpur jumps with more than sufficient to good reflexes, but shows a bit melancholy on the jump and has more than sufficient to good technique. Kuala Lumpur seems careful and shows more than sufficient to much scope. Kuala Lumpur has more than sufficient to much talent for jumping and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.

Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.

The croup has a slightly straight position, sufficient length and sufficient muscling.
The hamstring has more than sufficient length.
The foreleg is correctly adjusted when viewed from the front and slightly back at the knee when viewed from the side.
The hindleg is straight.
The pasterns have sufficient length and are weak.
The hooves are well developed and of sufficient quality with well-developed heels.
The foundation is well developed and of good quality.
The walk has sufficient space and good elasticity.
The trot has more than sufficient space with a more than sufficient posture and a more than sufficient carrying hind leg.
The canter is more than sufficiently powerful, good in space, carried with good posture.

The mare had a heavy foaling this spring, and was in poor condition during the inspection.
