Conformation:
Kensington ES is a well-developed, riding type stallion with a good rectangular shape and with a downward body direction. The head is more than appealing with a friendly eye. The neck has good length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, good length and good muscling. The shoulder is good in length and a little straight in position. The withers are more than sufficiently developed and of good length. The back is slightly sunken, of good length and well-muscled . The loins are well connected and well-muscled. The croup has a good position, sufficient length and more than sufficient muscling. The hamstring should be a bit longer. The foreleg is correctly adjusted but slightly tied-in from the side and correctly adjusted from the front. The hindleg is slightly sickled. The pasterns are good in length and correctly positioned. The pasterns are good in length but slightly straight. The foundation is well developed and of good quality. The hooves are well developed, good in shape, good in quality with correctly developed heels.

Descendant:
Two stallions that have been in the top 5 of the WBFSH Sire Rankings in recent years are the sire and mother’s father of Kensington ES. As the first Cornet Obolensky, who was not only very successful for many years at major tournaments such as the 2008 Olympic Games and the European Championship in 2011 (team gold) with Marco Kutscher himself, but also made his mark in breeding with producing well performing offspring in sports such as Cornado NRW by Marcus Ehning, Cornet d'Amour by Daniël Deusser, and Comme il Faut by Marcus Ehning. Kensington's maternal grandfather is another famous horse: For Pleasure. He won multiple gold team medals during his sport career, including at the Atlanta Olympics with Lars Nieberg and Markus Ehning in Sydney. The grandmother of Kensington ES is the sport mare Vandine (by Athlet Z), who is classified 1.35m internationally. She produced the international 1 * eventing horse Anand W (by Chin Chin), the 1.40m showjumper Oscar (by Peter Pan) and from Voltaire a 1.35m horse. In addition, she is the grandmother of a 1.30m horse from Manhattan. We also find top sires Libero H, Joost and Courville xx in the dam line.

Performance report:
Kensington ES is an honest and reliable stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and can be worked with easily more than enough. The walk has sufficient to more than sufficient space. The trot has more than sufficient space. The canter is light-footed and has good space. The stallion changes leads easily. The stallion has sufficient posture and good balance in movement. Kensington ES jumps well with an upwards body direction and with much to very much use of the body. The stallion jumps with very good reflexes. Kensington ES jumps with good foreleg technique and a lot of use of the back. The jump is finished very well in the hindlegs. Kensington ES seems careful and shows a lot of power. Kensington ES has much to very much talent for jumping and gives his rider a good to very good feeling.

Stable behaviour:
Honest and reliable stallion, easy in handling and calm in the stable.

Kensington ES can improve the canter and add jumping quality and especially athletic ability to show jumping horse breeding.

The back is moderate in length and is poorly muscled.
The loins are well muscled and well connected.
The croup is very sloping, of sufficient length and good muscling.
The hamstring has sufficient length.
The foreleg is toed-in when viewed from the front and placed under the body when viewed from the side.
The hind leg is straight.
The pasterns are more than sufficient in length and set correctly.
The hooves are sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality with uneven heels.
The foundation is more than sufficiently developed and of sufficient quality.
The walk has good space and sufficient suppleness.
The trot has limited space with sufficient posture and a moderately placement of the hindleg under the body.
The canter is sufficiently powerful, more than sufficient in space and sufficiently carried.
The mare's tail has been broken in the past, so she does not carry her tail.
