Conformation:

King Blue is a well-developed stallion who is correctly within the rectangular model. The stallion has an appealing head. The neck is good in length with a light head-neck connection. The neck is well-shaped, good in length, and well-muscled. The shoulder is good in length and positioned sloping. The whither is more than sufficiently-developed and more than sufficient in length. The back is long and more than sufficiently-muscled. The loins are well-muscled and connected. The croup is well-positioned, good in length, and well-muscled. The pant muscle is good in length. The foreleg is slightly toed in but furthermore correct. The hindleg is correct. The pasterns are good in length and slightly straight. The foundation is well-developed and of good quality. The hooves are well-developed, well-shaped, and of good quality. The heels are low.

Pedigree:

King Blue is a son of the preferent Zirocco Blue VDL, who had an impressive sports career together with Jur Vrieling. They won, among other, team gold during the European Championships at Aachen in 2015 and individually, team bronze during the World Cup final at Barcelona in 2015. They were also part of the team during the Olympic Games of Rio de Janeiro in 2016. King Blue’s dam, Gonita elite IBOP-spr (s.Andiamo) was invited to the National dam keuring as a three-year-old. Her dam, Tornita L ster preferent, a daughter of the preferent Indoctro, brought an international 1.40m jumping horse by Silverstone and is, among others, the granddam of the 1.40m horse by Emilion. Continuing the damline, there is the dam Hernita keur preferent prestatie (s.Nimmerdor), who is the dam of the Grand Prix horse Santiago W (s.Calvaro Z), from Gyula Szuhai, and a 1.30m horse by Burggraaf. Besides that, she is the (great) granddam of international 1.40m horses by Kojak, Baloubet du Rouet, and Stakkato, also other sport horses from 1.30m level.

Research report:

King Blue is an honest and loyal, very willingness to work stallion with a good attitude. The stallion shows a lot of willingness to work and is easy to train. The walk is sufficient in length. The trot is moderate in length. The stallion moves on the forehand with sufficient balance. The canter has more than sufficient length and balance. King Blue jumps with a very good upward movement with good reflexes, more than sufficient use of the body, and a very good foreleg technique, in which the jump is finished varied. King Blue seems to be very careful and shows a lot of scope. As a jumping horse, King Blue has the talent and gives his rider a good feeling.
