Performance test report

Conformation: 
Trafalgar is a more than sufficiently developed stallion but needs longer-lined conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good shape and sufficient length with abundant muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back is slightly short and slightly dropped but has sufficient muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length with good muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct. The hind leg is straight with weak pasterns. The front pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves have good shape and are well developed but have under-run heels. 

Lineage: 
Trafalgar is by the phenomenal dressage stallion Totilas, who enjoyed a spectacular sport career under Edward Gal. The stallion is now standing at stud full-time. 

Trafalgar's dam is Paola, a Lord Loxley (Lord Sinclair x Weltmeyer) daughter. Her dam Poetin II is by Sandro Hit out of Poesie (s.Brentano II). Posie is a very good broodmare as evidenced by her offspring. They include a Small Tour horse by Lord Sinclair and Samba Hit I through V, five full-brothers by Sandro Hit, who are approved by various studbooks. Posie is also the granddam of the popular stallion Quaterback. The dam-line continues with Primadonna, a daughter of the stallion Gotland (s.Goldstein ss.Gotthard). Primadonna is also the dam of the approved stallions Caprigold (s.Caprimond) and Fruhtau (s.Fruhlingsbote). 

Performance Test Report: 
Trafalgar is an honest and reliable stallion with a very good disposition. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has good scope. The trot is light-footed with good scope. The stallion sometimes moves wide in the trot lengthenings. The canter is uphill and powerful with excellent carriage and abundant scope. Trafalgar moves with good leg form and excellent elasticity, self-carriage and balance. He shows abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling. 

Stable Behavior: 
Trafalgar is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. Trafalgar is a cribber. 
Veterinary Report: 
The stallion received dental treatment. 

Semen Inspection: 
Expected fertility class: good. 

Breeding Recommendation: 
Trafalgar can bring willingness, light-footed movement, and blood distribution to dressage horse breeding. 

Dam Report: 
Paola is a well-developed mare with sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and a downhill body direction. 
The head is attractive with a nice large eye. 
The poll has good length with a light head-neck connection. 
The neck has good shape with more than sufficient length and muscling. 
The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has more than sufficient length. 
The shoulder has good length but is slightly straight. 
The back has sufficient length and good muscling. 
The loins have strong muscling and are well connected. 
The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length. 
There is more than sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. 
The front leg is a fraction toed-in when viewed from the front and tight when viewed from the side. 
The hind leg is straight. 
The pasterns have good length. The front pasterns are slightly straight, and the hind pasterns are slightly weak. 
The hooves are slightly small but of good quality with good heels. 
The legs are well developed and of good quality. 
The walk has good scope and is pure, but the joints should bend more. 
The trot has sufficient scope but needs better body position and carriage. Front leg use is tight. 
The canter is sufficiently powerful with sufficient scope but needs better body position and carriage. 
The mare needs better body position in all three basic gaits. Her body stays very horizontal.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Trafalgar showed a uniform collection of more than sufficiently developed foals. They have an expressive head and a lean, a bit fine fundament. The foals fit more than sufficient to good in the rectangular model and multiple are high-legged. They have a well-shaped forehand. The back and loins are well-muscled and connected but occasionally a bit weak. The croup is mostly sloping with more than sufficient length. The front leg stance is generally correct, occasionally toed out. The hind leg stance is varying, as well correct, as an upright, long or sickle stance have been established. In walk the foals showed more than sufficient to a lot of length. The trot and canter are light-footed, in which the elasticity stands out positively. The foals show a more than sufficient to good length and impulsion. The hind leg use can be called varying in as well trot as canter, from well stepped under and carrying to pushing.
