Performance test report

Conformation:
Henkie has good Gelder horse type and good rectangular-shaped conformation. He is well developed. The head is attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a heavy throatlatch. The neck has vertical placement with more than sufficient length and muscling. The wither is sufficiently developed and sufficiently long. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good placement and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup has good length and is slightly sloped. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is correct when viewed from the side but slightly constricted. The front legs toe out. The hind leg is correct but somewhat long. The pasterns have good length and angle. The hooves are small with high heels. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of good quality.

Lineage:
Henkie is by Alexandro P, whose offspring have won numerous titles at the inspections. Among them is Henkie, who was crowned the National Foal Champion. He is Alexandro P's first approved son. Henkie descends from a predicate-rich Gelder-line. His dam Beaujamanda ster has produced four foals. A former Z1-level dressage horse, Henkie's granddam Jamanda (s.Zep) earned the keur- and sport (dres) predicates and produced two ster mares. Her dam Amanda ster pref prest (s. Unitas) foaled offspring which excelled both in the sport and the inspections. Horses out of Henkie's dam-line include Flush (s. Zandman), who jumped at the 1.30m level; Gait (s. Lt. Generaal), who competed in Z1-level dressage; and Bon Vivant (3rd round view., s. Upperville), who won the foal champion title. The full-brothers Sam and Tegro (s. Negro), two more products of this line, are respectively M2- and Z2-level dressage horses. Tex (s. Cabochon), a past Gelder Horse of the Year title winner, excels in both dressage and driving, respectively at the Z2- and ZZ levels. The dam-line continues with blood from Marconi, Geoloog, and Zadonis.

Performance Test Report:
Henkie is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He shows good willingness to work and good trainability.

Dressage
The walk is pure and active with very good scope. The trot has good scope, more than sufficient body position, but the hind leg needs to be slightly quicker. The canter has very good scope with good balance and push. Henkie's movement shows good elasticity. As a Gelder horse, he demonstrates very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.

Jumping
Henkie jumps with more than sufficient to good reflexes, more than sufficient form, and completes his jump more than sufficiently to well with his hindquarters. The stallion appears careful and shows more than sufficient scope and willingness. As a Gelder horse, Henkie demonstrates more than sufficient to good talent for jumping and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.

In Harness 
In harness, Henkie is more than sufficiently willing to work.  He has more than sufficient desire to move. At the beginning of the test, Henkie became tense easily but improved greatly with respect to this issue over the course of the test. The walk is pure and active with very good scope. The trot has very good scope, power, and elasticity. The canter has good scope, power, balance, and elasticity. The stallion has good maneuverability and body position. The overall picture as a driving horse is good. 

Stable Behavior:
Henkie is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. 

Veterinary Report:
No peculiarities noted.

Semen Inspection:
Expected fertility class: sufficient.

Breeding Recommendation:
Henkie can improve the basic gaits, especially with respect to front leg use and shoulder freedom. He is best bred to mares with well-developed hooves.

Dam Report:
Beaujamanda is a well-developed mare with good rectangular-shaped conformation and Gelder type.  
The head is attractive. 
The poll has sufficient length with a heavy head-neck connection.
The neck has more than sufficient length but comes out deep from the chest. The neck should have more vertical placement.
The wither is more than sufficiently developed.
The shoulder has good length and placement.
The back has good placement.
The loins are well-muscled and somewhat tight.  
The croup has good length and placement.
There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock.
The front leg is correct.
The hind leg is correct.
The pasterns are normal.

The trot is displayed with a good posture, elasticity and balance with a good front leg technique and a good free shoulder. The canter is more than sufficient to good in power, length and elasticity.
