Performance test report

Conformation: 
Hitmaker is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation and an attractive front end. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has good length with a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has good shape, length, and muscling but comes out slightly deep from the chest. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loins have good length, more than sufficient muscling, and are more than sufficiently connected. The croup has good placement, length, and muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is a fraction straight when viewed from the side and slightly toed out when viewed from the front. The hind leg is slightly sickle-hocked. The front pasterns have sufficient length but are straight. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves are a fraction small but well-developed with slightly high heels. 

Lineage: 
Hitmaker, who placed third in the championship at the KWPN Stallion Show in 's-Hertogenbosch, is by Wynton, Madeleine Witte's promising Grand Prix stallion. 

Hitmaker's dam Maduna is a keur sport (dres) mare by Cabochon. A former ZZ-light dressage horse, Maduna also produced an international Young Riders horse by Flemmingh. Hitmaker's pedigree boasts English Thoroughbred blood through his granddam Catriena, a preferent prestatie mare by Pantheon xx. Catriena produced five dressage horses which compete at the Z-level or higher. The dam-line continues with the Komeet ster mare Waduna. Next in this line, which traces its origins back to Gelder horse blood, is the ster mare Kaduna (s.Wachtmeester). 

Performance Test Report: 
Hitmaker is an honest stallion with a good disposition but is easily distracted by his environment. He is very willing to work and has more than sufficient to good trainability. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient to good scope but needs more march. The trot is active with more than sufficient to good scope and good front leg form. The canter is uphill and powerful with excellent carriage and abundant scope. Hitmaker moves with good leg form, abundant elasticity, and excellent self-carriage and balance. He shows abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling. 

Stable Behavior: 
Hitmaker is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. 

Veterinary Report: 
The stallion received dental treatment. 

Semen Inspection: 
Expected fertility class: good.

Hitmaker can improve conformation, size, and front leg use in dressage horse breeding. 

Dam Report: 
Maduna is a very well-developed mare with very good rectangular-shaped conformation. She shows "blood" and appears in good condition. 
The head is attractive, with a large eye. 
The poll is sufficiently long with a light head-neck connection. 
The neck has good length and shape. 
The wither is well developed and has good length. 
The shoulder has good length and placement. 
The back is slightly weak but has good length and muscling. 
The loins have good muscling and are well connected. 
The croup is sloped and has good muscling. 
There is very good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. 
The front leg is correct. 
The hind leg is slightly straight with slightly weak pasterns. 
The front pasterns have good length. 
The hooves are well developed and of good quality with slightly under-run heels. 
The legs are well developed and of good quality. 
The walk has very good scope and good elasticity. 
The trot has good scope and body position, and the hind leg steps well under the body. 
The canter has good scope and body position, and the hind leg steps well under the body. 
Maduna is classified at the ZZ-light level in dressage. 

In 1999, Maduna earned the following scores in the IBOP test: 
walk: 7, trot: 7, canter: 7, suitability as a dressage horse: 7; jumping: push: 6, form: 5, scope: 5.5, suitability as a jumper 5.5 Total: 62.5 points.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Hitmaker showed a collection of generally very well-developed, long-lined and igh-legged dressage foals with sufficient charisma that fit sufficiently into the dressage horse type. The body direction could occasionally be a bit more uphill. The forehand is shaped variable, in which multiple times a horizontal neck position was established. The back is correctly shaped, the loins are a bit tight sometimes. The croup is generally correct. The front leg occasionally has an upright pastern stance and/or is a bit toed out, also the hind leg had a bit of an upright pastern stance multiple times. The hind leg stance is variable, as well correct, as upright or sickle has been established. The walk is sufficient to more than sufficient in length. The trot generally has more than sufficient length and impulsion. The foals show a good use of the front leg in trot. The hind leg should step more under the body and carry more. The canter is sufficient in length, but should show more elasticity, impulsion and be more carried.
