Performance test report

Conformation:
Genius is a more than sufficiently developed stallion with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is attractive. The poll has sufficient length but a slightly heavy head-neck connection. The neck has more than sufficient length, slightly horizontal placement, and a slight under-neck. The wither has good length and sufficient development. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling but is slightly dropped. The loin has good muscling and is well connected. The croup is sloped and has sufficient length. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is slightly back at the knee when viewed from the side and toed out when viewed from the front. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are a bit fine-boned but of good quality. The hooves are well developed and have good shape.

Lineage:
Genius is a son of the number one sire in the 2013 WBFSH Rankings, Baloubet du Rouet, who captured multiple World Cups with Rodrigo Pessoa. Genius's dam, the prestatie mare Nicce (s.Cantus), also produced the KWPN-approved stallion and Grand Prix jumper Vleut (sport name: Guccio, rider: Edwina Alexander-Tops) as well as his full-sister Wikke, a 1.35m jumper. Genius's granddam is no other than the keur sport (jump) mare Jikke, the Concorde daughter with which Eric van der Vleuten held the Dutch Champion title for years at the Grand Prix level. Genius's granddam Surprise is a keur preferent prestatie mare by the English Thoroughbred Pantheon xx. Surprise also produced Jikke's full-sister Ludmilla, a former 1.30m jumper. The dam-line continues with the ster mare Icce by Porter x Ferdinand.

Performance Test Report:
Genius is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He shows very abundant willingness to work, but because he has so much energy, he's difficult to train. Genius has a good mouth. The walk is pure and has more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope. The canter is powerful with good scope and carriage. The stallion moves with good body position and more than sufficient balance. Genius jumps with good to very good reflexes, but because he gets so excited, the pinnacle of his jump is often behind the obstacle. The stallion has good leg form but needs to jump with a more elevated wither. He appears careful and shows more than sufficient to abundant scope. Genius demonstrates more than sufficient to abundant talent as a jumper and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.

Stable Behavior:
Genius is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.  

Veterinary Report:
The training manager requested a dental examination for the stallion, which was performed on April 3rd and resulted in a dental adjustment. Afterwards, the stallion's performance improved.

Genius can improve the canter as well as add willingness and good reflexes to jumper breeding. 

Dam Viewing Report: Nicce Reg. A prest
Nicce is a very well-developed, riding-type mare with a long-lined body and good rectangular-shaped conformation.  
The head is well-shaped and attractive.
The poll has good shape and length.
The neck is long with good shape and more than sufficient muscling.
The shoulder is long but needs to be more sloped.
The back falls away slightly behind the wither. The loin has good shape and is well connected.
The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length.
The front leg is over at the knee, with straight pasterns.
The hind leg is long and sickle-hocked.
The hooves are wide.
The walk is big, pure, and elastic.
The front legs toe in.
The trot is big, light-footed, very elastic, and correct.

Offspring report

Genius showed a uniform collection of foals with more than sufficient development and rectangular-shaped conformation, with a downhill body direction. The neck has good length and vertical placement, and some foals have an under-neck. The back has good length but is a fraction dropped. The croup is sloped, with good length and muscling. The front leg is slightly toed-out. Hind leg conformation varies from sickle-hocked to correct to straight. The legs are solid and have appropriate circumference. The walk has sufficient scope and elasticity. The trot has more than sufficient to good scope, elasticity, and hind leg use. The canter has sufficient scope, body position, and balance.
