Performance test report
Conformation:
Governor is a
well-developed stallion with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped
conformation. The head is attractive, with a somewhat heavy jaw. The poll has
good length with a light head-neck connection. The neck has more than
sufficient length with good shape and muscling. The wither is more than
sufficiently developed but needs more length. The shoulder has good length and
placement. The back is slightly dropped but has sufficient length and muscling.
The loin is well muscled and well connected. The croup is sloped and has
sufficient length with good muscling. There is good length from the point of
the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is toed-out when viewed from
the front but correct when viewed from the side. The pasterns are slightly
straight but have good length. The hind leg is correct. The legs are
well-developed and of sufficient quality. The hooves are of good shape and
quality.
Lineage:
Governor is a son of the
acclaimed top stallion Totilas. Governor's dam is the elite preferent mare Orleans, a full-sister to
Parzival, the horse with which Adelinde Cornelissen has achieved great success.
Orleans is also the dam of dressage offspring including a ZZ-advanced horse by
United, a Prix St. George horse by Polansky, a Z1-level horse by Ravel, and a
selected stallion by United. Governor's granddam Fidora boasts the ster, preferent, and prestatie predicates. In addition to her
son Parzival, this Ulft daughter produced a Small Tour horse by Highline,
ZZ-light horses by Sir Sinclair and Turbo Magic, and Z-level dressage horses by
Welt Hit II and Wolfgang. Governor's great-granddam Antara (s.Roemer) produced
offspring including the Grand Prix competitor Grenoble (s.Bismarck), the Small
Tour horse Paso Doble (s.Jetset-D), and the Z1-level dressage horse Kahrim
(s.Wolfgang). The KWPN stallion Armani (s.United) is also a descendent of this
dam-line.
Performance Test Report:
Governor is an honest and
reliable stallion with a very good temperament. He is very willing to work and
has very good trainability. The connection is good, but the stallion sometimes
lets the tip of his tongue drop slightly from his mouth. The walk is pure with
good to very good scope and elasticity. The trot has good scope with excellent
balance. The canter is uphill, powerful, and has abundant scope. Governor moves
with abundant to very abundant elasticity, self-carriage, and balance. He has
abundant to very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a very good
feeling.
Stable Behavior:
Governor is an honest and
reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Governor showed a uniform collection of well-developed, long-legged foals with good dressage horse conformation and abundant presence. The neck has good muscling but sometimes needs slightly more length, and it comes out deep from the chest. The back has good length but is dropped in one foal. The croup is sloped and has good length. The front leg is sometimes back at the knee and has straight pasterns when viewed from the side; and when viewed from the front, is often toed-out. The hind leg is slightly sickle-hocked. The legs are solid but slightly fine-boned. The walk has good scope and elasticity. The trot is light-footed with excellent rhythm, good scope and elasticity, and more than sufficient carriage. The canter is light-footed with excellent balance.
