Conformation
Floris BS has good Gelder horse type and good rectangular-shaped conformation. He is well developed but needs more stallion presence. The head is sufficiently attractive but slightly long. The poll is short with a heavy throatlatch. The neck has good shape, length, and muscling, with vertical placement. The wither is sufficiently developed but could be longer. The shoulder is long and straight. The back has good placement, length, and muscling. The loins are well-connected. The croup has more than sufficient length and good muscling. The point of the hip to the point of the buttock is long. The front leg is correct, when viewed from the side. The hind leg is slightly straight. The pasterns have sufficient length and are correct. The hooves and heels are well developed. The legs are tight with appropriate circumference. The front legs toe-out slightly, and the stallion's body is base-narrow.
Lineage
Floris BS is a son of the preferent stallion Negro, whose predicate-rich dam-line includes a good dash of Gelder horse blood. Negro's dam Fewrie is a keur preferent prestatie mare with blood on her sire's side from the Amor son Eros and the Centurio daughter Garantia. Negro's granddam Mewri keur preferent prestatie is by the Amor son Gondelier, and Negro's great-granddam is the ster preferent prestatie mare Geerrie by the L’invasion son Centurio. Zamyra ster PROK (s.Elegant), the dam of Floris BS, was recorded in the studbook with high scores for conformation and movement. She competed in the National Mare Inspection. The granddam of Floris BS, Myra ster, produced three fillies, two of which were awarded the ster predicate. Myra also produced one colt. The keur stallion Elegant, who died in 2011, did not leave behind an approved son or grandson to succeed him as a breeding stallion. With the approval of Floris BS, Elegant blood is once again available to breeders.

Floris BS jumps with more than sufficient reflexes, more than sufficient to good form, and completes his jump well with his hind end. The stallion appears careful and shows abundant scope and good willingness. Floris BS has more than sufficient to abundant talent for jumping as a Gelder horse and gives his rider a more than sufficient feeling.

Floris BS shows abundant willingness to work in harness. He has a steady and reliable temperament with good desire to work. The walk is clear with more than sufficient activity and scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope and power, but the hind leg should step under the body more resolutely. The canter has good scope and power. The stallion has more than sufficient maneuverability and good body position. The overall picture as a horse in harness is more than sufficient to good.

Breeding Recommendation:
The breeding recommendation is based on the performance test and the foal inspection. Floris BS can improve the canter and contribute to blood distribution. He is best bred to long-lined mares which are sufficiently large and have good Gelder horse type.
Remarks:
The collection consisted of 10 foals invited by the KWPN and 2 foals selected by the stallion's registered party. Four of the foals invited by the KWPN were absent. These foals were inspected at their home location and are consistent with the findings described in this report. One of the foals inspected at its home location has a club-foot and an overbite. The foals were inspected indoors on sand footing in 2014 and on grass footing in 2015.
The quality of the dams varied. The foals from 2014 are mainly out of riding horse mares, and the foals from 2015 are mainly out of Gelder mares. The foals out of the Gelder mares were superior to the others.
