Conformation

Foundation is a well-developed stallion with good dressage horse conformation. The head is more than sufficiently attractive. The poll is sufficiently long. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length but slightly poor muscling. The loins are poorly muscled. The croup is sloped and has more than sufficient length. The line from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock should be longer. The front leg has more than sufficient length and correct conformation. The hind leg is correct. The pasterns have good length and are correct. The legs are more than sufficiently developed and of more than sufficient quality. The hooves are well shaped and well developed.

 

Lineage

Foundation is a son of the small tour stallion United.

 

Foundation's dam Wiana, who was recorded in the studbook with high scores, boasts the ster and preferent predicates. This Jazz daughter is out of Liane, a ster preferent prestatie mare by Ferro. Liane also produced the KWPN stallion Redford (s.Krack C) and Z-level dressage horses by Mooiman, Krack C, Obelisk, and Jazz. The dam-line continues with the ster preferent mare Fabiola, a Lector daughter out of the keur preferent mare Wanda. Wanda is by the English Thoroughbred Lucky Boy xx, out of Olene, a daughter of Miro (s.Marco Polo) and Elena (s.Albatros).

Foundation is an honest and reliable stallion with a more than sufficient to good temperament. He is more than sufficiently willing to work and has more than sufficient to good trainability. The walk is clear with very good scope and abundant body use. The trot has more than sufficient scope, power, and carriage. The canter has abundant power and very abundant scope and carriage. Foundation moves with more than sufficient elasticity and more than sufficient to excellent body position and balance. Foundation has more than sufficient to abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling.

Foundation is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall.

Foundation showed a uniform collection of foals with sufficient to more than sufficient development but which should have longer-lined conformation. The neck varies in shape and muscling. The front leg is correct. Hind leg conformation varies from curved to straight. The walk has sufficient scope but needs more elasticity. The trot is light-footed and has more than sufficient scope. The canter has more than sufficient scope and good balance.
