Performance test report

Conformation:

Firestone is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation, a slightly downhill body direction, and abundant presence. The head is attractive with a nice eye. The poll has more than sufficient length. The neck has good length, shape, and muscling. The wither is more than sufficiently developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loins are slightly tight but well connected. The croup has good placement, length, and muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock. The front leg is camped-under. The hind leg is correct. The legs are well developed and of good quality. The hooves have good shape.

                 

Lineage:

Firestone is a son of the Grand Prix stallion Johnson. Firestone's dam Zelza-Bella is a ster mare by Florencio, the two-time champion of the FEI World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Zelza-Bella also produced Firestone's full-sister Elfi B, a ster mare who excelled in the mare test and was accepted in the Studbook with 95 points for her trot. Firestone's granddam Ragna Bella, a Painters Row xx daughter, brings Thoroughbred blood to this pedigree. Her dam Baronna Bella boasts the keur and preferent predicates. Bred to Glendale, this Saluut daughter produced a 1.35m-level jumper. The dam-line continues with the keur preferent mare Hiski Bella (s.Apollo) and the kroon preferent mare Robia (s.Udet).

 

Performance Test Report:

Firestone is an honest and reliable stallion with a good temperament. He is very willing to work and has good trainability. The walk is pure and has good to very good scope. The trot has good scope, and the hind leg steps well under the body. The canter is uphill and powerful with excellent carriage and abundant scope. Firestone moves with abundant elasticity as well as good body position and balance. He has abundant to very abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a more than sufficient to good feeling.

 

Stable Behavior:

Firestone is an honest and reliable stallion. He is easy on the ground and quiet in his stall. 

 

Veterinary Report:

During the first half of the test, the stallion showed signs of patellar fixation in the right hind leg. The condition resolved after a shoeing correction and further training.

Firestone can improve nobility, presence, and movement in dressage horse breeding.

 

Dam Report:

Zelza-Bella ster

Zelza-Bella is a more than sufficiently developed mare with more than sufficient rectangular-shaped conformation and abundant "bloodhorse" presence.

The head is attractive.

The poll has good length and a light throatlatch.

The neck has sufficient length and vertical placement.

The wither is well developed and has sufficient length.

The shoulder has sufficient length but is slightly straight.

The back and loins have slightly poor muscling.

The croup is sloped and has sufficient length. 

There is sufficient length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock.

The front leg is correct when viewed from the front but camped-under when viewed from the side.

The hind leg is straight with weak pasterns.

The hooves are correct, and the heels are sufficiently high.

The legs are tight but slightly fine-boned.

The walk is correct and sufficiently active.

The trot and canter have good scope with a hind leg that steps well under the body.

Front leg use is good.

The mare has more than sufficient self-carriage and good elasticity.

Performance test scores

Offspring report

Firestone showed a varied collection of foals, with moderate to good development. A number of foals have a downhill body direction. The head is attractive. Among the foals evaluated at their home location, the neck was often short and heavily muscled with a heavy head/neck connection. These traits were not observed in the foals selected by the stallion's registered party. The back and loins are slightly dropped in multiple foals. The legs are correct, solid, and of good quality. The walk has sufficient to more than sufficient scope. The trot has more than sufficient scope. The canter has sufficient scope and carriage. The foals should move with more shoulder freedom and body use.
